Overview

AI-generated overview

Convoca gives an assistant a searchable catalog of open Spanish and Catalan literary prizes and contests, plus winners and awarded books.

What you can do
  • Search open calls for literary prizes and contests by text, genre, language, deadline, writer's age, fee, prize money and scope, soonest deadline first
  • Read one open call in full: deadline, prize money, eligibility, entry fee, length limits, conditions and rules
  • Find prizes by name, organizer, genre or language and open a prize's full record, including its next edition, past editions, winners and awarded books
  • Look up winners by prize, author, work or year, and browse published books that won a prize with publisher, ISBN and date
When to use it
Useful when someone asks what literary prizes or contests they can currently enter in Spanish or Catalan, details of a specific prize, or who won a given prize and which book was published.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint; no account, API key or environment variable is declared. Network access to the provider's endpoint is required.
Before you install
The catalog is compiled from public sources and covers mainly Spain; a null field means the source does not state it, not that it is absent. The server only reads data, but the rules published by each prize always take precedence over what the assistant reports.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Convoca in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.convocaliteraria%2Fconvoca/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

buscar_convocatorias

Buscar convocatorias abiertas
