Overview

AI-generated overview

A remote MCP server that lets an assistant search a corpus of operational experience records and fetch verified guidance for runtime errors and symptoms.

What you can do
  • Search the corpus by natural-language keywords or concepts
  • Look up candidate records by Python exception class or by runtime symptom
  • Fetch a compact precondition warrant for a record, then the full record as markdown or executable Python invariants
  • Log a missing error or symptom so the corpus can generate a new record
When to use it
Useful when an assistant hits an unexpected runtime error, an ambiguous failure state, or a reasoning loop and wants empirically verified boundary guidance instead of guessing. Also suited to looking up known operational pitfalls before changing code.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no packages, environment variables, or headers are declared. The manifest declares no authentication.
Before you install
The request tool logs missing errors or symptoms to the corpus, so text you submit leaves your machine. Records are third-party content; check the warrant before relying on a record, as the server itself advises.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open CorpusFetch in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.corpusfetch%2Fcorpusfetch/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Tools

corpusfetch_fetch_record

Fetch the full resolved experience record. Format 'md' (~1500 tokens, includes reasoning) or 'py' (~300 tokens, zero-prose executable invariants).

Parametersslugrequiredformat

corpusfetch_fetch_warrant

Fetch the compact ~220-token precondition seal for a resolved record. Always call this before fetching the full record. Check the seal; if it fails, the record does not apply to your current state.

Parametersslugrequired

corpusfetch_lookup_exception

Look up deterministic operational experience for a Python exception class (e.g., KeyError, TimeoutError). Use this when you encounter an unexpected runtime error and need an empirically verified boundary decision. Returns candidate addresses.

Parametersexception_classrequired

corpusfetch_lookup_symptom

Look up operational experience for a specific runtime symptom (e.g., UNICODE_HOMOGLYPH_OR_MOJIBAKE). Use this when facing an ambiguous failure state or an unbounded reasoning loop. Returns candidate addresses.

Parameterssymptomrequired

corpusfetch_request_experience

Request a new operational experience. If you searched and couldn't find a record, use this to log the missing error or symptom so the corpus can generate it.
