A remote MCP server that returns extractive summaries of documents, picking the text's own sentences so the summary cannot add facts.
What you can do
Summarize a document extractively, returning its own sentences chosen by a vector-association model.
Control the output length by sentence count, a ratio of the sentences, or a token budget.
Shrink long text before passing it to another step, since nothing is generated and no facts can be added.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to condense long documents for reading or to fit a token budget, and when you want a summary that stays strictly within the source wording rather than a rewritten one.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at the provider's domain; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared, and no authentication is declared.
Before you install
The document text you submit is sent to a third-party remote service. Summaries are extractive only, so they cannot paraphrase, translate or synthesize across sources. No authentication is declared, so do not send confidential material.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.cymetica%2Ftuatara-summarize/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Tuatara Summarize: extractive summary of a document. Returns the document's own sentences, chosen by a vector-association model, cut to sentence_count, a ratio of the sentences or a token budget; nothing is generated, so the summary cannot add facts. Use it to shrink long text before passing it to a chat model. Up to 200,000 characters per call; no account needed.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
