A remote MCP server for buying crypto-paid travel eSIMs and phone-number eSIMs in 180+ countries, from destination search through order and top-up.
What you can do
Search destinations by name or ISO code and see starting prices and plan counts, or list all destinations with an empty query. List purchasable data-only and phone-number plans for a destination, cheapest first, and read full plan details including covered countries, validity start rules and notes. List accepted payment coins and networks. Create a crypto invoice for a new eSIM, poll order status, and retrieve the QR code, activation code, ICCID and install links once delivered. Cancel an unpaid order, and check or create top-ups for an already installed eSIM.
When to use it
Useful when someone wants to compare and buy a travel data eSIM or a local phone-number eSIM for a trip and is prepared to pay in cryptocurrency, or wants to add data to an existing Cypher eSIM without reinstalling it.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variable or header is declared. A cryptocurrency wallet able to pay on one of the accepted coins and networks is needed to complete an order. Network access to the provider's endpoint.
Before you install
Orders are paid in cryptocurrency: create_order and create_topup produce real invoices, and paying on the wrong network loses the funds. Confirm the plan, validity start and notes with the person before ordering; number plans start validity at installation, and the Europe number is French. Do not cancel after payment is sent. Order polling should be no more than once every 5 seconds. Delivered orders return activation codes and ICCIDs.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.cypheresim%2Fesim/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Find a country, region or "world" destination by name or ISO code. Returns destination codes for list_plans (country: ISO2 like "JP"; region: like "R-EUROPE"; world: "WORLD"), starting prices in USD, and how many data and phone-number plans exist. An empty query lists all destinations.
Parameterslimitquery
list_plans
List plans
List purchasable plans for a destination, cheapest first. type "data" = data-only eSIM: validity starts on first connection at the destination. type "number" = eSIM with a phone number, calls and SMS: validity starts at installation, so install it just before use; Europe plans give a French +33 number; the UK number plan must be installed only after arrival in the UK. For a country without its own plans, regional and world plans that cover it are returned. Prices are final USD prices; the crypto amount is set at create_order.
Parameterstypedestinationrequiredinclude_regional
get_plan
Get plan
Full details of one plan: all covered countries, data, days, phone number (if any), install rules, when validity starts, and notes. Read the notes to the person before create_order.
Parametersplan_idrequired
list_payment_coins
List payment coins
Coins and networks accepted for payment. Pass coin and network to create_order. Sending on a different network loses the funds.
Takes no parameters.
create_order
Create order
Create a crypto invoice for one new eSIM. Before calling, confirm the plan with the person and tell them when validity starts and the plan notes (number plans: validity starts at installation; Europe number is French +33; UK number plan: install only after arrival). Returns order_id, order_token, the exact amount and the address. The person must send exactly that amount on that network before expires_at. Then poll get_order. Unpaid invoices per client are limited; cancel unused ones with cancel_order.
Order status: pending (waiting for payment), paid (issuing), delivered, expired, failed. When delivered, returns for each eSIM: QR code (also as an image), LPA activation code, ICCID, and one-tap iOS/Android install links. Call at most once every 5 seconds.
Parametersorder_idrequiredorder_tokenrequired
cancel_order
Cancel order
Cancel an unpaid order the person decided not to pay. Do not cancel after the payment was sent.
Parametersorder_idrequiredorder_tokenrequired
list_topups
List top-ups
Check whether an installed Cypher eSIM can be topped up and list the plans that can be added to it.
Parametersiccidrequired
create_topup
Create top-up
Create a crypto invoice that adds a data plan to an existing eSIM (no new QR, nothing to install). plan_id must come from list_topups for this ICCID. Payment and polling work exactly like create_order.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
