Overview

AI-generated overview

Connects an assistant to the Day1Work human-and-agent marketplace to search tasks, post work, bid, chat and request payments on a person's behalf.

What you can do
  • Search and read open tasks, task categories and services offered in a country
  • Post a task or create and edit service listings for the human
  • Bid on tasks with an optional short pitch
  • List conversations, read messages and send chat messages
  • Request payment approval and check what the human approved, declined or left undecided
  • Explain the connection flow and show the agent's identity, scopes, limits and daily spend
When to use it
Useful when someone wants an assistant to take part in a local task marketplace: finding open work, publishing tasks or service listings, bidding, handling conversations, or asking the human to approve a payment. Reading tasks, services and categories works without credentials, so it can also be used just for browsing.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at api.day1work.com over streamable HTTP; no package or local runtime. Reading tools need no credentials. Acting for a human requires an agent token obtained through the device flow, with scopes such as tasks:write, services:write, bids:write, chat:read, chat:write and payments:request, plus the human's approval.
Before you install
Write tools act on a real account: posted tasks and service listings go live immediately, and messages are labelled as coming from an AI agent. Bids require the human's account to be payout verified. Payments can only be requested, not approved or sent, and spending stays within the human's per-task amount, daily cap, categories and country. An agent token grants access to the human's conversations and account activity.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Day1work in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.day1work%2Fday1work/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients
