Overview

AI-generated overview

Checks domain name availability against live registry (RDAP) data and returns first-year TLD price estimates, so an assistant can verify names before…

What you can do
  • Check availability of up to 50 full domain names at once against live registry (RDAP) data
  • Get registrar retail first-year price estimates in USD for top-level domains such as .com, .io, .app, .dev and .ai
  • Compare TLD options when a user is deciding between extensions
  • Verify a name is unregistered before presenting it as a suggestion
When to use it
Useful when brainstorming or suggesting domain names and you want availability confirmed rather than assumed, or when a user asks whether specific domains are free or how TLD prices compare.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at the provider's site; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Prices are registrar retail first-year estimates in USD, not a quote for a specific domain, and may differ from the actual purchase price. Availability comes from live registry data and can change before registration. The description also mentions brand scores and resale value, which the listed tools do not clearly expose.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open domhaul in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.domhaul%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Check Domain Availability

Check whether domain names are actually available to register, using live registry (RDAP) data. Use this when suggesting domain names (verify availability before presenting them, never assume a name is unregistered) or when the user asks whether specific domains are available. Accepts up to 50 fully-qualified domains (e.g. 'brewlog.app'). Returns availability, the registrar for taken domains, a 0-100 brandability score, an estimated resale value, the price in USD (price_usd for term_years, quote it rather than estimating; price_source 'checkout' is the expected charge at buy_url, confirmed before payment), and buy_url, the domhaul checkout page where the user can purchase the domain. If too few names are available, generate more candidates and call again.

Get TLD Registration Prices

Get registrar retail first-year price estimates in USD for top-level domains (.com, .io, .app, .dev, .ai, …). Use this when the user is comparing TLD options, e.g. 'should I get the .com or the .io?'. For the exact purchase price of a specific domain, use check_domains instead.

83% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
