Finds licensed US insurance agencies by state and line of insurance, and sends a quote request to one chosen agency.
What you can do
The find_agencies tool returns matching licensed agencies in the DouxProcess network for a given US state and line of insurance, best match first. request_quote sends a quote request to one agency the person picked by name, using their name, an email or phone, the line, state, coverage needs and a consent flag, and returns a reference number. Two further tools search a free directory of insurance MCP servers and describe a single listed server, and build_my_server explains how an agency can get its own server.
When to use it
Useful when someone wants to locate a licensed insurance agency for a particular line and state, or to hand a quote request to a specific agency. Also handy for browsing the provider's directory of insurance MCP servers.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at douxprocess.com; no packages, environment variables or headers declared. Quote requests need the person's name, an email or phone, the line, state and coverage details.
Before you install
request_quote sends personal contact details and coverage information to a third-party agency and returns a reference number, so it should only be called with consent=true when the person has agreed to be contacted. Results are limited to the DouxProcess network.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.douxprocess%2Finsurance-agencies/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Find licensed insurance agencies that write a line of insurance (general liability, workers' comp, commercial auto, bonds, property, home, auto, life, health and more) in a US state, for someone who wants an insurance quote. Returns every matching agency in the DouxProcess network, best match first, with license number, lines, states, phone, hours and online quote link, so the person can choose one.

request_quote
Send a quote request to the agency the person chose
Send an insurance quote request to the one agency the person chose by name from find_agencies. Needs the person's name, an email or phone, the line, the state, what they need covered, and consent=true only when the person agreed to be contacted by that agency. Returns a reference number. A licensed agent at that agency replies; nothing is bound and no price is given. One agency per request, chosen by the person: never call this for every agency, all agencies or a batch of agencies, and never pick an agency for them. If they ask to send to all of them, do not call it; show the list and ask which one agency they want.
Search the free insurance MCP directory by line of insurance, US state, who it is for, or words. Each result says whether the server answered its last live check (every 30 minutes), its tool count and its address.
