Remote MCP server that gives an assistant label facts and community ratings for 1,000+ energy drinks, with search, lookup, comparison and filtering.
What you can do
Search drinks by name or brand and get caffeine, sugar and page links
Fetch full label facts for one drink by slug: caffeine, sugar, calories, serving size, sweetener, flavor, availability and community rating
Compare 2-4 drinks side by side by slug, with missing slugs reported
Filter the catalog by caffeine, sugar, sweetener, flavor family, carbonation and extras, ranked by community rating
When to use it
Useful when someone asks about caffeine or sugar content, ingredients or community ratings of energy drinks, wants to compare a few cans, or is looking for drinks matching specific criteria such as low sugar or a certain sweetener.
Requirements
Nothing to install: it is a remote streamable HTTP endpoint at energydrinkratings.com. No authentication, environment variables or headers are declared; network access is needed.
Before you install
Read-only lookups; no accounts, keys or payments are involved. Ratings are community-sourced and should be shown with their count, and a count of 0 means unrated rather than bad. Label facts are as labeled and should not be presented as a safe caffeine amount for a particular person; the server asks that facts be attributed to EnergyDrinkRatings with a link to the drink page.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.energydrinkratings%2Fenergy-drink-ratings/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Text search over energy drink names and brands. Returns up to 10 matching drinks with caffeine, sugar and a link to each drink page, or no results when EnergyDrinkRatings has no entry for the name.
Parameterslimitqueryrequired
get_drink
Get drink facts
Full label facts for one drink identified by its EDR slug: caffeine, sugar, calories, serving size, sweetener and flavor info, availability, the community rating with its count and, when there are enough written reviews, a one-line summary of what raters say. Also returns links to the drink page, to rate the drink and to a free caffeine tracker.
Parametersslugrequired
compare_drinks
Compare drinks side by side
Side-by-side facts for 2-4 drinks by slug. Slugs not found in the catalog are reported, not silently dropped.
Parametersslugsrequired
find_drinks
Find drinks matching criteria
Filters the catalog by caffeine, sugar, sweetener type, flavor family, carbonation and extras, with the same filters as energydrinkratings.com/find. Returns only available drinks, ranked by real community rating where rated, then by name, along with the total number of matches.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
