Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote Apify-hosted MCP server giving assistants spreadsheet, census tract, PDF-to-Markdown, SEO/AI audit and video frame tools.

What you can do
  • Work with spreadsheets through agent-facing tools
  • Look up and use US census tract data
  • Convert PDF documents to Markdown
  • Run SEO and AI visibility audits
  • Extract frames from video files
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to process spreadsheets or PDFs, pull census tract data, check SEO or AI-search visibility, or grab frames from video, without building those pipelines yourself.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.apify.com; no local package. An Apify account is needed, either via OAuth sign-in or an Apify API token sent in the Authorization header as a Bearer token. Network access to the endpoint.
Before you install
The Authorization header carries an Apify API token, a credential that should be kept secret and scoped carefully. Tools run on Apify, so the data you submit (documents, spreadsheets, video, URLs) is processed by that third party, and Apify usage may be billed to your account.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Errandkit Data Tools in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.errandkit%2Fdata-tools/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.
