Travel eSIM shopping assistant: finds destinations and live plan prices, checks phone compatibility, builds a checkout link, and gives install links after…
What you can do
Search destinations by country, region or city and get the slug used by other tools
List current plans for a destination with live prices, data, validity and product page URL, including covered countries for regional plans
Check whether a documented phone model supports eSIM
Create a checkout link on esimpass.com with one plan preselected
Retrieve one-tap install links and manual-entry codes from a paid order's private eSIM link
Search destinations by name and fetch one as a document with plans, prices and checkout links
When to use it
Useful when someone is planning travel and wants to compare travel eSIM plans and prices for a destination, confirm their phone can use eSIM, and get a ready checkout or post-purchase install link without browsing the site manually.
Requirements
Remote MCP endpoint at esimpass.com over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers declared. The install tool needs the private eSIM link from the traveller's order confirmation page. Payment happens on the esimpass.com checkout page, not through the server.
Before you install
create_checkout_link only produces a URL; the traveller pays on esimpass.com by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or crypto, so real money is spent there. get_esim_install requires the private eSIM link from an order confirmation page, which grants access to that eSIM's install data, so treat it as a secret. Prices and plans change and compatibility data covers only documented models; an unlisted model is not necessarily incompatible.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.esimpass%2Fesimpass/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Find the eSIMpass travel eSIM for a place: a country ("Japan"), a region ("Europe", "Asia", "Global") or a city ("Tokyo", which is covered by its country's plans). Returns matching destinations with the slug that get_plans and create_checkout_link take.
Parametersqueryrequired
get_plans
List plans and live prices
The plans on sale for one destination right now, with live prices, data, validity and the product page URL. For a regional plan it also lists every country covered; a country missing from that list is not covered. Prices and plans change, so these are the current ones.
Parameterscurrencyunlimiteddestinationrequired
check_device
Check phone eSIM compatibility
Whether a phone model supports eSIM, from the models eSIMpass documents (Apple, Samsung, Google). The phone must also be carrier-unlocked; a model not in the list is not necessarily incompatible.
Parametersdevicerequired
create_checkout_link
Create a checkout link
A checkout URL on esimpass.com with one plan already selected. It does not pay or place an order: the traveller opens it, enters their email and pays (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal or crypto). Minutes later the confirmation page has an Install button (one tap on iPhone and Android), a QR code and a private eSIM link. Takes a plan name as get_plans returns it.
After the traveller has paid: one-tap install links for their eSIM, for iPhone (iOS 17.4+) and Android (10+), plus the manual-entry codes. Takes the private eSIM link from the traveller's order confirmation page (https://www.esimpass.com/…/my-esim/…); any other value is refused. Each install link installs the eSIM when opened on the phone that will use it. The result is that traveller's private eSIM details.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
