Overview

AI-generated overview

Read-only remote MCP server that lets an assistant look up EU AI Act articles, recitals, annexes, definitions, obligations and deadlines, and run a compliance…

What you can do
  • Retrieve the full amended text of a single article, recital or annex, including lettered article numbers and roman-numeral annexes
  • Look up Article 3 definitions of terms used in the regulation
  • Run full-text search across articles, recitals and annexes with ranked matches and snippets
  • List the obligations attached to a role, optionally filtered by risk tier, and show which obligations and phases are in force or pending as of a given date
  • Run the compliance assessment from an entity's answers, returning applicable roles, risk classification, obligations with legal basis and deadlines, and notes
  • Report a problem or gap in the server's data through a one-way feedback tool
When to use it
Useful when answering questions about EU AI Act text, definitions, obligations or deadlines and you want cited, read-only lookups instead of relying on model memory. Also suited to a first-pass compliance triage of an AI system or role.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, environment variable or header is declared. No authentication is declared, and the manifest lists no accounts or API keys.
Before you install
The compliance assessment is a decision-tree result, not legal advice, and its notes cover edge cases such as reduced regimes, so results should be checked against the cited legal text. Feedback is one-way and no reply is sent. The server is read-only apart from that feedback submission.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open EU AI Act Explorer in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.euaiactlaw%2Feu-ai-act-explorer/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
