Looks up official passport, visa and ID photo specs — print size, head size, background rules — and links to a browser tool that makes the photo.
What you can do
List ID photo specs for passports, visas, ID cards and similar documents, filterable by country code, with an id for the detail lookup.
Read one spec in full: print size in mm, head size and how it is measured, allowed backgrounds and whether they may be changed, online pixel size and file limits, who takes the photo, the official source and the date it was checked.
Get a link to make the photo in the browser when the spec can be made there.
When to use it
Useful when someone needs to know the exact requirements for a passport, visa or ID photo for a given country, or wants to check whether a photo can be produced online before submitting it.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared.
Before you install
Specs are informational and dated; confirm against the official source before submitting a photo. The photo-making step happens on the provider's website in a browser, and the server says the image is not uploaded there.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.fotosize%2Ffotosize/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
The passport, visa, ID card and other ID photo specs fotosize has checked against official sources, with an id for get_photo_spec. Filter by country code. can_make_here is false where the photo must be taken at the office or fotosize does not make it.

Get an ID photo spec
One ID photo spec: print size in mm, head size and how it is measured, allowed backgrounds and whether the background may be changed, online pixel size and file limit where there is one, who takes the photo, the official source and the date it was checked, and a link to make the photo in the browser. Always pass on the notes; they say what the photo must not be used for.
