Overview

AI-generated overview

RigBase lets an assistant look up measured local-LLM tokens/sec on real home AI rigs, with sourced, linked results and VRAM-fit estimates.

What you can do
  • Search measured builds by GPU, model, minimum VRAM or maximum cost, returning tok/s, quant, engine and source links
  • Check whether a given GPU setup can run a model, using measured results first and a clearly labelled VRAM-fit estimate otherwise
  • Find the fastest measured result for a model, including tok/s per euro where a build cost or GPU street price exists
  • Fetch a single build by slug with its parts, measured results and source credit
When to use it
Useful when planning or comparing home AI hardware for local LLM inference, checking whether a specific GPU and model combination is realistic, or citing measured tokens/sec figures with their original sources.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at getrigbase.com; no packages, environment variables or headers declared. Network access to the endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Results are aggregated from third-party public sources with differing engines, quants and settings, so cross-source comparisons are unreliable; filter for plain decode when comparing. Estimates are arithmetic, not measurements. Reuse requires CC BY 4.0 attribution and keeping the per-row source URL.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open RigBase in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.getrigbase%2Frigbase/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

RigBase data

Measured local-LLM speeds on real home hardware.

This repository mirrors the free RigBase dataset:

Builds150
Measured results358
Models51
Snapshot generated2026-10-27 (from getrigbase.com/data/)

Every number links to its original public source (llama.cpp discussions, llama-bench databases, blogs, GitHub repos, Mia's AI Lab recipes, and similar). RigBase collects and normalises these numbers; it does not re-measure them or invent estimates for the tps column.

Files

  • builds.csv — one row per measured result (358 rows)
  • builds.json — one object per build with parts + nested results
  • LICENSE — CC BY 4.0
  • CITATION.cff — machine-readable citation

Quick start

bash
# CSVcurl -LO https://getrigbase.com/data/builds.csv
# Or clone this repogit clone https://github.com/getrigbase/rigbase-data.git
python
import pandas as pddf = pd.read_csv("builds.csv")# Plain decode only (drop speculative / MTP / draft runs):plain = df[df["spec_decode"].fillna("none").eq("none")]print(plain.groupby("model")["tps"].max().sort_values(ascending=False).head(10))

Caveats

  • Numbers come from different people, engines, quants and settings. Compare rows from the same source when you compute ratios.
  • Filter on spec_decode == "none" for plain decode speed.
  • Calculator pages on the site (VRAM, KV cache) are arithmetic, not measurements. They are not in this dataset.

Please also keep or cite the per-row source URL when you reuse an individual number.

Updates

The live files at https://getrigbase.com/data/ are the source of truth. This GitHub mirror is refreshed when the site dataset changes. Issues and PRs that fix a sourced number (with a link) are welcome.

search_builds

Search RigBase measured home AI builds. Filter by GPU name, model name, minimum VRAM (GB), and/or maximum build cost. Returns top matches with tok/s, quant, engine, source credit and canonical getrigbase.com URL. Never invents numbers.

Parametersgpulimitmodelcurrencymax_pricemin_vram_gb

can_it_run

Ask whether a given GPU setup can run a model. Returns measured RigBase results when available; otherwise a VRAM-fit estimate clearly labelled as an estimate (weights arithmetic, not a measured speed). Advises against quants below Q4. Always includes source credit and URLs for measured rows.

Parametersgpurequiredcountmodelrequiredquant

best_gpu_for_model

Return the fastest measured RigBase result for a model, plus tok/s per euro where a build cost or known GPU street price exists. Includes source credit and canonical URL.

Parameterslimitmodelrequired

get_build

Fetch one RigBase build by slug (e.g. "dual-3090-ryzen-3700x"). Returns parts, measured results, source credit and canonical URL.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
