Unlimited computation for agents. Results depend on your equipment; GPU optional.
Overview
Singularis is a local MCP server that gives an AI assistant unlimited computation by running jobs on the user's own machine, with an optional GPU.
- What you can do
- Run compute jobs locally through the Singularis runtime configured on the machine.
- Register an API key from within the assistant using the singularis_register_key tool.
- Store the shell secret automatically once a key is registered.
- Results depend on the user's own hardware; a GPU is optional.
- When to use it
- Worth adding when an assistant needs to offload heavy or long-running computation to the user's own machine rather than a hosted service, and the user is willing to install and run the Singularis runtime locally.
- Requirements
- Runs as a local process (PyPI package singularis-mcp, stdio transport) on desktop only. Needs the Singularis runtime command set in SINGULARIS_ENGINE_CMD, an optional SINGULARIS_API_KEY (obtainable via singularis_register_key), SINGULARIS_COUNTRY for key registration, and SINGULARIS_SHELL_SECRET, which is saved automatically after registration. A GPU is optional.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Singularis in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Desktop only via STDIO. STDIO servers start a local process, so they need the SourceWeft desktop host.
Other MCP clients

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
- Reached in the last 30 days25 pts
Keep the endpoint answering the MCP handshake; SourceWeft probes it every 30 days.
- Auth declared10 pts
Declare the credential headers in the registry entry, or keep the endpoint answering the probe so its auth can be classified.

Answer tools/list without a credential, or ship a package that starts in a sandbox without one.
