Overview

AI-generated overview

Ginbing lets an assistant search CNIPA trademark goods and services and prepare a China trademark application draft in a connected Ginbing account.

What you can do
Search CNIPA goods and services by keyword in English or Chinese, optionally within one class, and get the exact Chinese label to file with each item ID and selection token. Validate previously picked items against the current CNIPA list, including against a saved filing, and see whether each is current or needs reselecting. List the trademark application drafts in the connected account, newest first. Create a new draft, reusing a creation key on retry so no duplicate is made. Read a draft's missing fields and the steps the customer completes on the Ginbing website. Patch permitted draft fields using an expected revision, adding goods and services by selection token and removing existing IDs
When to use it
Use it when preparing a China trademark filing: choosing goods and services from the CNIPA list, checking that earlier selections are still valid, and assembling an application draft that the customer finishes and submits on the Ginbing website.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at mcp.ginbing.com over streamable HTTP, with a connected Ginbing account for the draft tools. No packages, environment variables or headers are declared.
Before you install
Draft tools read and change data in the connected Ginbing account: creating and updating drafts writes to it. Identity document numbers and documents stay on the website and must not be supplied; external labels, classes and identity numbers are rejected. The customer completes and submits the application on the Ginbing website, not through the assistant.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Ginbing in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.ginbing%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

search_taxonomy

Search CNIPA goods and services

Use this to find goods and services for a China trademark filing by keyword, in English or Chinese, optionally within one class. Items come from the current list of CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration), maintained by Ginbing. labelZh is the exact Chinese text filed with CNIPA, and label is the English name CNIPA gives it. standardItem is true for standard items from the Nice Classification or the Chinese national list, and false for other items on the CNIPA list. itemCode is the CNIPA item number when there is one; groupCode, groupLabel and groupLabelZh identify the similarity group within the class. itemId, and selectionToken when a Ginbing account is connected, are for other Ginbing tools. Equally relevant standard items come first; if only non-standard items match, a broader term may find a standard one. Refine the query when hasMore is true. Results are lookup data, not legal advice.

validate_taxonomy_items

Validate CNIPA filing items

Use this to check that goods or services picked earlier are still on the current CNIPA list. Pass each itemId. To also check a saved filing, add previousFiling with the classNumber, groupCode, groupLabelZh, itemCode, labelZh and standardItem received for that item. status is current; needs_reselection when the Chinese filing details changed, so search again; stale when a saved item left the list; or missing for an unknown itemId. Similar items are never substituted. English-only changes do not affect the filing.

Parametersitemsrequired

list_filing_drafts

List your trademark drafts

List the trademark application drafts in the connected Ginbing account, newest first.

Parameterspagelimit

create_filing_draft

Start a trademark draft

Start a new trademark application draft in the connected Ginbing account. Reuse the same creationKey when retrying; the existing draft is returned. The customer completes and submits the application on the Ginbing website.

ParameterscreationKeyrequired

get_filing_draft

Read a trademark draft

Read a draft with the fields still missing (missingFields, which you can fill with update_filing_draft) and the steps the customer completes on the Ginbing website (customerWebsiteSteps). Identity document numbers and documents stay on the website. When aiPreparationComplete is true, give the customer those steps and accountUrl.

ParametersorderIdrequired

update_filing_draft

Update a trademark draft

Patch permitted fields of your draft using its expectedRevision. Omitted fields are preserved; null clears permitted text fields. Add goods/services with account-bound selection tokens from search_taxonomy, remove existing item IDs. Never supply external labels/classes or identity numbers. Outdated items require a new search. The typed signature prepares the filing authorization; the customer still reviews and submits on the website.
