Your company brain: search decisions, people, customers and projects across connected sources.
Overview
GuruSup Brain is a hosted MCP server that lets an assistant search your company's decisions, people, customers and projects across connected sources.
- What you can do
- Search company knowledge across connected sources, including decisions, people, customers and projects
- Retrieve answers scoped to what your signed-in GuruSup Brain account is permitted to see
- Optionally pair with a Claude plugin skill that prompts checking Brain first for company questions
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to answer questions about your own organization — past decisions, who works on what, customer and project context — instead of relying on general knowledge or manual searching.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint run by GuruSup, reached over streamable HTTP; no local code or packages. Requires a GuruSup Brain account and OAuth sign-in, which opens a browser on the first call. Network access is needed.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Gurusup in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.gurusup%2Fgurusup/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

GuruSup Brain plugin
Brings GuruSup Brain, your company's memory, into Claude. It bundles the Brain MCP server (OAuth sign-in with your GuruSup account) and a skill that tells Claude to check Brain first for anything about your company.
Install (Claude Code)
The first Brain call opens a browser to sign in. If you already added the Brain MCP by hand, remove it first (claude mcp remove gurusup) so the tools don't show up twice.
What it sends and where
The plugin runs no local code. Claude calls the Brain MCP server, run by GuruSup, sending the questions and search terms it needs to answer you. You sign in with your GuruSup Brain account through OAuth, and the server only returns what that account is allowed to see. You need a GuruSup Brain account to use it. How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
