Overview

AI-generated overview

A remote MCP server exposing iinventedlight's public notes and openly licensed reference library for listing, reading, searching and asking questions about them

What you can do
List all readable notes, library pages and the mission page with slugs, permanent IDs, aliases, dates and licenses, and read a single note's markdown with its citation block and BibTeX, optionally limited to named sections. Search notes, reference notes and library pages by keyword or exact phrase and get matching slugs with line snippets. Ask a question about iinventedlight and get a short answer with confidence, sources and suggested next steps, or consult a compact topic-to-fact map to plan which reads to make. Submit feedback such as ratings, comments, corrections or insights, and read approved feedback for a public note.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to answer questions about iinventedlight, quote or cite its public notes and reference material, or gather approved reader feedback on a note. It is a read-oriented source for that specific library rather than a general web search tool.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at iinventedlight.com over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. Submitting a library note requires an access key sent as an Authorization Bearer header, while feedback needs no key.
Before you install
Submitting a note sends content to a third party and requires the access key; the server instructs assistants to confirm with the user first. Feedback submissions are also sent to the publisher, and only a short normalized topic of unanswered questions is said to be retained. Read tools do not change notes.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open iinventedlight Library in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.iinventedlight%2Flibrary/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Tools

list_notes

List every readable note: project notes (/library/notes/), reference notes (/library/reference/), library pages and the mission page. Gives slug, iil_id (permanent ID), aliases (old slugs), kind, title, date, status, url, page, license, checked_on (reference notes add category, source_url).

Takes no parameters.

read_note

Read one public note by slug (from list_notes), old slug, or permanent ID (iil:note:...). Returns the note's markdown, then its permanent ID and a Cite this block (plain text and BibTeX). Optional sections: heading or bold-label names to return only those parts; pass [] to list the available sections.

ask

Answer a question about iinventedlight from the public notes and library in one call. Returns {answer (1-3 lines), confidence 0-1, sources, fields, next}. Follow next when confidence is low. Only a short normalized topic of unanswered questions is kept, never the question itself.

atlas

Compact map of topics -> fact ids (doc#n) and docs. Use to plan which ask/read_note calls to make. Same content as resource https://iinventedlight.com/library/atlas.json

Takes no parameters.

search_notes

Case-insensitive search across all notes, reference notes, library pages and the mission page. Every query word must match (title, tags, or body), with light stemming; an exact phrase ranks first. Returns matching slugs with line snippets. SI / RSI also match self-improvement and superintelligence. Queries are kept only in a private usage log (see llms.txt).

submit_contribution

Submit feedback or a library note. A type=note submission requires a valid access key (HTTP header 'Authorization: Bearer <key>'); without one it is rejected. Feedback (rating, like, dislike, comment, correction, insight) needs no key. ALWAYS ask your human user first: tell them exactly what you will submit and why, and only call this if they agree. Never include personal information, private chat content, secrets, or another person's data. Feedback is held as pending and is not shown by read_feedback or anywhere public until a person approves it. Feedback never changes a note's published text or creates a note. A type=note submission is human-reviewed and never auto-published. 83% of the applicable checks met

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
