Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant search Indian restaurants, menus, prices and dishes across thousands of cities, with optional OAuth tools to save places and log visits.

What it does
A hosted MCP server covering over 5 lakh Indian restaurants, cafes, dhabas and street stalls in 8,911 cities and towns. Tools include search_restaurants, get_restaurant, get_menu, search_dishes, list_places, get_place, report_correction and about_dataset. Records carry addresses, map points, phone numbers, timings with open-now in IST, cuisines, cost for two, and menus with rupee prices and veg marks where known. A separate OAuth endpoint adds foodie account tools such as save_restaurant, list_saved, log_visit and my_timeline.
When to use it
Useful when a user asks for restaurant recommendations, menus, dish prices or opening hours in India, or wants to filter by city, area, cuisine, cost or veg status. Also suited to saving and revisiting favourite places through the optional account tools.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install or self-host. Reads need no API key, account or sign-up. The optional foodie tools at the /mcp/agent endpoint require OAuth. Network access to the provider is required.
Before you install
Reads are rate limited to 120 requests a minute per IP. The optional OAuth endpoint can write account data such as saved places and visit logs. Commercial use is allowed for reads with attribution, but bulk resale of contact details is not permitted; terms apply.
