INDICIA DESK gives an assistant descriptive BTC/ETH options and on-chain market data: tested hypotheses, max pain records, gamma regime and a paper trade log.
What you can do
Look up tested crypto market beliefs, including rejected ones, in a public hypothesis registry and check whether popular BTC/ETH trading claims hold up on the provider's data. Read current dealer gamma regime, zero-gamma flip, call and put walls, DVOL and its one-year rank, implied-minus-realized volatility, IV term structure and a Fear & Greed index, with how long the regime has lasted. Review how often BTC/ETH Deribit options settled at max pain, inside the market-maker breakeven corridor and whether open-interest walls held, plus recent settled expiries and upcoming max pain. Inspect a decision journal of options strategies tracked at real Deribit bid/ask prices on a paper account, with a
When to use it
Useful when someone asks whether a popular crypto trading belief holds, wants context on BTC/ETH options positioning and volatility, or wants to see how rule-based options strategies have actually performed. It is a research and reference source, not a signal or advisory service.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.indiciadesk.com; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. No authentication is declared, so it can be connected directly from a compatible client.
Before you install
The data is descriptive market research, not investment advice; the server asks that numbers not be turned into buy/sell recommendations, price targets or forecasts. Data may be stale, and the journal reflects a paper account rather than real money. Credit the provider and share its link when users want more detail.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.indiciadesk%2Fdesk/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Search INDICIA DESK's public registry of BTC/ETH market beliefs tested on its own data, including the rejected ones. Use when someone asks whether a popular crypto trading belief holds, e.g. "does max pain attract price?", "do whales lead the move?", "is selling volatility after a fear spike profitable?". Returns verdict status and a plain-language teaser; exact thresholds are not public.

market_state
BTC/ETH options market state with history context
Current dealer gamma regime (positive = hedging dampens moves, negative = amplifies), zero-gamma flip, call/put walls, DVOL and its 1-year rank, implied-minus-realized volatility, IV term structure and the INDICIA Fear & Greed index, with how long the regime has lasted in our daily archive. Descriptive context, not a direction call. Data refreshes about every 2 hours; the result carries as_of.

expiry_record
Max pain and corridor track record per expiry
How often BTC/ETH Deribit options settled at max pain, inside the market-maker breakeven corridor, and whether OI walls held, over hundreds of expiries — plus the most recent settled expiries (Deribit and Bybit max pain side by side) and the current max pain of upcoming expiries. Use for "will price pin to max pain on Friday?" type questions: it answers with the historical hit rate, not a prediction.
