Overview
Hosted MCP server that lets an assistant search and inspect competitor ads across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, Microsoft and TikTok ad libraries.
- What you can do
- Search Facebook ads by keyword and list all ads from a specific page or company
- Search Google advertisers and pull all ads for a company or details of a single ad
- Search the LinkedIn Ad Library and fetch details of a specific LinkedIn ad
- Search Microsoft advertisers and ads, list ads per advertiser, and list country codes for filtering
- Search TikTok ads, get targeting and reach details, and list top-performing ads from Creative Center
- When to use it
- Useful for competitor ad research, creative and market-trend analysis, and multi-platform ad audits where you want an assistant to pull transparency data from several ad libraries without leaving the chat.
- Requirements
- A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package or environment variables. An InsightfulPipe account signed in through OAuth, and a paid InsightfulPipe plan (trial available). ChatGPT access requires Developer mode and plan or admin permission.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Ads Libraries MCP by InsightfulPipe in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

What is Ads Libraries MCP?
Ads Libraries MCP is a remote Model Context Protocol server hosted by InsightfulPipe. Access ad transparency data and creative libraries across platforms to research competitor campaigns and market trends.
Installation
Claude
- Copy the MCP Server URL:
https://ads-libraries.insightfulmcp.com/ - Open Claude Connectors Settings
- Scroll to the bottom and click Add custom connector
- Paste the URL and click Add
- Click Connect and sign in to InsightfulPipe if asked. Claude then lists the connector as connected.
ChatGPT
Custom MCP servers are added through ChatGPT's Developer mode. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan, and workspace admins may need to allow it.
- Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT settings
- Create a new app for a remote MCP server and paste the URL:
https://ads-libraries.insightfulmcp.com/ - Sign in to InsightfulPipe if asked. The connection finishes as soon as you are signed in.

You decide what AI agents can do with each connected account:
- Turn individual actions on or off for every connected account, so agents only see the actions you allow.
- Connect as Read-only or Read & Write. A read-only connection can only enable read actions.
- Destructive actions stay off by default. Actions such as deletes are disabled until an admin enables them.
- Team access per account. Restricted team members only use the accounts they are granted, with the read actions enabled on them.
