Overview
Hosted MCP server that connects a Facebook Page to AI assistants for page analytics, publishing posts, videos and stories, and comment moderation.
- What you can do
- Read page data: page info, page insights, posts, post details and insights, reels, stories and videos, plus comments with pagination
- Publish content: text and link posts, image and multi-image posts, attached-media posts, reels, videos and photo or video stories
- Manage posts: update a post's message, delete posts, upload unpublished photos for multi-image posts, create slideshows
- Moderate comments: create, reply to, hide, unhide and delete comments, including bulk hide and bulk delete
- Report on metrics such as followers, likes, reach, engagement, engagement rate, video views, link clicks and page views
- When to use it
- Useful for social media managers, brands and agencies that want to query Facebook Page performance in natural language, draft and publish content, or review and moderate comments from an AI assistant. Read-only connections suit reporting and analysis; write access is needed for publishing and moderation.
- Requirements
- Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package or runtime. Requires OAuth sign-in to InsightfulPipe and a Facebook Page where you have admin permissions. A paid InsightfulPipe plan is needed (plans start at $29.99/month with a 7-day trial). ChatGPT use requires Developer mode and a plan that supports it.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Facebook Pages MCP by InsightfulPipe in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Installation
Claude
- Copy the MCP Server URL:

- Scroll to the bottom and click Add custom connector
- Paste the URL and click Add
- Click Connect and sign in to InsightfulPipe if asked. Claude then lists the connector as connected.
ChatGPT
Custom MCP servers are added through ChatGPT's Developer mode. Availability depends on your ChatGPT plan, and workspace admins may need to allow it.
- Turn on Developer mode in ChatGPT settings
- Create a new app for a remote MCP server and paste the URL:
https://facebook-pages.insightfulmcp.com/ - Sign in to InsightfulPipe if asked. The connection finishes as soon as you are signed in.

Control What Your AI Can Do
You decide what AI agents can do with each connected account:
- Turn individual actions on or off for every connected account, so agents only see the actions you allow.
- Connect as Read-only or Read & Write. A read-only connection can only enable read actions.
- Destructive actions stay off by default. Actions such as deletes are disabled until an admin enables them.
- Team access per account. Restricted team members only use the accounts they are granted, with the read actions enabled on them.
