Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted PageSpeed Insights MCP server that lets an AI assistant run Lighthouse audits and read Core Web Vitals for public web pages.

What you can do
  • Run a full Lighthouse audit across all categories for a URL
  • Read Core Web Vitals snapshots such as LCP, CLS, TBT, TTFB and Speed Index
  • Check accessibility and SEO category scores with failing audits
  • Review resource-focused audits like render-blocking scripts, unused JS/CSS, caching and images
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to diagnose slow pages, track Core Web Vitals, or check accessibility and SEO scores while working on a site. Aimed at web developers, SEO professionals and marketers comparing page performance.
Requirements
A remote MCP endpoint added by URL; no local package or runtime. Sign-in to InsightfulPipe via OAuth is required, and a paid InsightfulPipe plan (starting at $29.99/month, with a 7-day trial) covers access. ChatGPT use requires developer mode and plan or admin permission.
Before you install
Requires an InsightfulPipe account sign-in through OAuth and a paid subscription. Only public URLs are analyzed, so page addresses you submit are sent to the provider and to the Google PageSpeed Insights API. Actions are read-only and can be toggled per account by an admin.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open PageSpeed Insights MCP by InsightfulPipe in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.insightfulpipe%2Fpagespeed/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Control What Your AI Can Do

You decide what AI agents can do with each connected account:

  • Turn individual actions on or off for every connected account, so agents only see the actions you allow.
  • Connect as Read-only or Read & Write. A read-only connection can only enable read actions.
  • Destructive actions stay off by default. Actions such as deletes are disabled until an admin enables them.
  • Team access per account. Restricted team members only use the accounts they are granted, with the read actions enabled on them.
