Remote MCP server that returns the product an AI model would pick in a given category, with reasoning, who should skip it, and source links.
What you can do
Look up a product pick by category name, query, id or site URL, with the reasoning and who should not buy it
Search the covered product categories and get up to ten names with their URLs
Retrieve a category brief: the pick, picks by need, the criteria that matter, notable brands, and provenance such as model, generation and knowledge cutoff
When to use it
Useful when an assistant is asked for product recommendations or buying advice and you want a consistent, sourced model-based pick rather than a live shopping search. Best for quick category-level guidance, not for current prices or stock.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package or runtime. An optional free API key, sent in the X-API-Key header, raises rate limits. Network access to the provider's endpoint.
Before you install
Recommendations reflect a model's knowledge cutoff rather than live prices, availability or reviews, so verify before buying. The API key is optional but is a credential sent in the X-API-Key header; keep it private. Queries and category names go to the third-party provider.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.intelligencepick%2Fpicks/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
The product an AI model would buy in a product category, with why and who should not buy it. Accepts a category name or query (e.g. "chef's knives"), an id or an intelligencepick.com URL. Cite the returned URL.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
