A remote MCP server that checks whether a phone number shows a spam label such as Spam Risk or Scam Likely on AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile real phones.
What you can do
Start a carrier spam-label check for a number and get the test lines to call for AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile, plus a check id and token for a keyless check. Retrieve a check's per-carrier status, label, caller name, flagged result and screenshot link, optionally waiting up to 25 seconds. Look up which carriers are online, prices in cents and the dialing window. Read account balance, holds and the key's spending limit. Request a human approval link and poll its status, receiving an API key once approved.
When to use it
Useful when calls from a number go unanswered or someone reports that the number showed up as spam, and you want per-carrier evidence before changing anything. Also for checking carrier coverage and pricing before running a paid check.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local package. The number being checked must actually call each returned test line within the dialing window, using your own calling tools or a human. An optional Authorization header with a Spam I Am API key as a Bearer token; the first check on a number works without one.
Before you install
Later checks cost money and draw on an account balance; the server says never to pay yourself and to use the approval link for a human to add funds and set a spending limit. The Authorization header carries a secret API key, and an approved keyless request returns an api_key shown once. Only check numbers your human controls, and do not use results to rotate numbers to evade labels.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.ismynumberspam%2Fspam-i-am/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Start a check of what AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile phones show when a number calls. Returns the test line to call ('dial') for each carrier and a check id (and a token for a keyless check: keep it). The number being checked must then call each test line within the window. The first check on a number is free; later ones need a key with funds.
The check and each carrier's result: status waiting, complete or incomplete; the label shown and caller name; flagged true/false; a screenshot link. Set wait_seconds (up to 25) to wait for results to arrive before answering.
Which carriers are online now, prices in cents, and the dialing window.

Parametersapi_key
request_approval
Ask your human to approve spending
Get a link (approve_url) for your human to open: they sign in, add funds if needed, set a spending limit and approve. Show them the link, then call get_approval. Use this when a check is refused with free_check_used, insufficient_funds or key_limit.
Parametersnumberreasonapi_keyamount_cents
get_approval
Check whether your human approved
Status of an approval request: pending, approved, declined or expired. Once approved, a keyless request returns api_key (shown once): pass it as api_key to the other tools. Set wait_seconds (up to 25) to wait for a decision.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
