Overview

AI-generated overview

Lets an assistant file a used-car or home search wish with a national listing portal, which then emails matches after the user confirms on the portal's site.

What you can do
  • Publish a search wish (own words, country, category, optional deadline and private max price) to a portal serving that country
  • Retrieve the state of a published wish as the holding portal reports it
  • List the listings the portal found, with links left unchanged
  • Withdraw a wish at the portal immediately
When to use it
When someone wants to be told over time about a used car or a home that is not on offer today in a given country, rather than searching listings themselves. Useful for long-running, deadline-bound searches such as a specific model under a price cap.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at istointents.com/mcp, no authentication or API keys. The user must open the returned consent link themselves and confirm with their own e-mail on the portal's site before anything is watched. In Copilot Business or Enterprise an administrator must enable MCP servers first.
Before you install
Publishing sends the user's wish, optional details and country to a third-party portal; the assistant should never collect or pass e-mail, name or phone. Nothing is watched until the user confirms on the portal's page. Withdrawal is immediate and cannot be undone; republishing needs a new confirmation. Matches come from the portal's own aggregation and may be incomplete.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Isto Intents in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.istointents%2Fintents/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

Isto Intents — MCP server

Isto Intents lets an AI assistant ask an independent local listing portal to keep looking for a used car or a home that is not on offer today. The portal watches its national market and e-mails the person what fits — after the person confirms on the portal's own page. The assistant never passes a name, an e-mail address or a phone number.

This repository describes the hosted server. It does not contain its source code.

Tools

toolwhat it does
intent_publish_intentPasses the person's wish (in their words, with an optional buy-by date and a private maximum price) to a portal that serves their country and has asked to receive wishes. Returns that portal's consentUrl — the person must open it, enter their own e-mail and confirm. Nothing is watched before that.
intent_get_intentState of a wish, as the portal that holds it reports it.
intent_list_matchesListings the portal found for the wish, unchanged; every link leads to the portal's own listing page.
intent_withdraw_intentStops the wish at the portal immediately.

Portals are chosen only from the registry by country and category, by the rules published at https://istointents.org/demand/#choosing — no portal pays for receiving wishes or for its place in a list. When no portal serves a country yet, the assistant is told so plainly and the person can join a waiting list.

Configure

VS Code (GitHub Copilot) — .vscode/mcp.json:

json
{ "servers": { "istointents": { "type": "http", "url": "https://istointents.com/mcp" } } }

or Command Palette → MCP: Add Server → HTTP → https://istointents.com/mcp. With Copilot Business or Enterprise an administrator must first enable MCP servers.

Other clients (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini CLI, Perplexity, Copilot Studio): see https://istointents.com/assistants/.

Use

Ask in your own words, for example:

Let me know until March about an estate car in Portugal under 15 000 €, not diesel.

Keep an eye out for a 3-room flat in Bratislava up to 250 000 €.

The assistant calls intent_publish_intent, shows you the portal's confirmation link, and later can show what the portal found with intent_list_matches. You can stop it at any time, from the assistant or from the link in every e-mail the portal sends.

Privacy

The server forwards only the wish, its optional details and the country — never contact data or the conversation. What it stores and for how long: https://istointents.com/privacy/

intent_publish_intent

Ask a local portal to keep looking for the user (needs the user's confirmation)

Use this when the user wants to be told over time about a used car or a home that is not on offer today, in a given country — e.g. "let me know until March about an estate car in Portugal under 15 000 €, not diesel". The wish goes to an independent listing portal that serves that country and has asked to receive wishes this way (Isto Intents registry, istointents.org). It returns that portal's own consentUrl: the USER must open it, enter their own e-mail there and confirm — nothing is watched before that, and the contact stays with that portal. Never ask the user for their e-mail and never open or fill in the link for them. If several portals fit, the answer is outcome "choose_holder" with their names: ask the user which one, then call again with holder. If none serves the country yet, the answer is outcome "no_holder": tell the user plainly. Send the country only, never a city or address. hiddenLimit is optional and only if the user said it: it is passed once to the portal, sealed there, never stored here or shown to sellers. Matches come from the chosen portal's own aggregation of its national market and may be incomplete.

intent_get_intent

State of a forwarded intent

Returns the state of an intent published with intent_publish_intent, as the portal that holds it reports it, and which portal that is. Matches come from the chosen portal's own aggregation of its national market and may be incomplete.

ParametersintentCoderequired

intent_list_matches

Listings the portal found for a forwarded intent

Returns the listings the portal found for the intent, unchanged — show every url as given. Works once the user has confirmed on the portal's page. Matches come from the chosen portal's own aggregation of its national market and may be incomplete.

ParameterssinceintentCoderequired

intent_withdraw_intent

Stop a forwarded intent

Stops the intent at the portal immediately; nothing more is sent to the user. Cannot be undone — publishing again needs a new confirmation.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
