A remote JoJ API marketplace server that lets an assistant submit YouTube audio/video download jobs and poll them until a download URL is ready.
What you can do
Submit a download job for a YouTube URL in a chosen format and receive a job ID and final download URL (get_ajax_download_php). Poll a submitted job's status and progress until it reaches 100% and the download URL is populated (get_ajax_progress).
When to use it
Use it when an assistant needs to fetch audio or video from YouTube through a hosted marketplace API rather than a local downloader, and can wait by polling for job completion.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.jojapi.com; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. Each tool call is billed 1 credit, so a funded JoJ API marketplace account is implied.
Before you install
Every call costs 1 credit, including each progress poll, so repeated polling spends credits. Downloading YouTube content may raise copyright and terms-of-service concerns. The server is a third-party marketplace service that receives the YouTube URLs you submit.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.jojapi%2Fyoutube-download-api/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Submits a new download job for the given `url` in the requested `format`.
Returns a unique `id` you can pass to the Progress endpoint to poll for
completion and retrieve the final download URL. Billing per call: 1 Credits.
Polls the status of a previously-submitted download job. Keep polling
until `progress == 1000` (i.e. 100%) and `download_url` is populated. Billing per call: 1 Credits.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
