Web search and page reading for AI agents, including JSON APIs, RSS feeds and YouTube.
The publisher's own server: Levirge Brain
Overview
Hosted MCP server for web research: multi-engine search plus URL fetching that opens JavaScript-heavy or blocking pages in a full browser.
- What you can do
- Search the web across multiple engines via SearXNG and get real result sets rather than one provider's ranking.
- Fetch any URL, including agent-built API endpoints, with pages that need JavaScript or refuse plain requests opened in a full browser.
- Queue up to 200 URLs for background fetching with per-domain pacing, then collect the results later.
- Review and manage a per-tenant registry of domains that required the stealth browser, plus a list of domains where it was blocked.
- Run packaged commands for multi-query research with sources, single-URL fetch and summarize, and stealth domain listing.
- When to use it
- Useful when an assistant needs to research the open web and cite original sources, especially when ordinary fetches get blocked or pages depend on JavaScript. Also fits bulk background collection of many URLs.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint at search.levirge.com/mcp; no local runtime or packages. OAuth sign-in is required and discovered through a standard authorization challenge, so no token is pasted. Optional plugin installs for Claude Code and Codex CLI.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Levirge Search in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.levirge%2Fsearch/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Levirge Search — web research your agent can actually reach
Search the web and read the sources, with citations.
Levirge Search is a hosted MCP server for research: unfiltered web search, and a URL fetch where pages that need JavaScript or refuse plain requests are opened in a full browser — so your agent can open the original source and cite it.
Install (2 minutes)
Claude Code:
Then run /mcp in a session and sign in.
Codex CLI:
Any other MCP client — point it at https://search.levirge.com/mcp. It answers a standard OAuth
challenge, so clients that speak MCP authorization discover sign-in on their own; no token to paste.
Update
plugin install won't upgrade, and the desktop "Update" button stays greyed out until the app's
marketplace cache is refreshed (the dialog has no refresh button). From the CLI — it shares the same
store as the desktop app:
Then restart the client — the plugin registry and MCP tool schemas are cached at startup, so new commands and tool params don't appear until then.
What you get
- Search that isn't a summary —
searchruns SearXNG across engines and returns real result sets, not one provider's ranking. - Fetch that opens the page —
fetchtakes any URL, including agent-constructed API endpoints; pages that need JavaScript or refuse plain requests are opened in a full browser. One tool, both routes. - Background scans —
fetch_asyncqueues up to 200 URLs through the same routing and paces them per-domain; collect withfetch_resultsinstead of blocking. - A stealth registry that learns — domains that needed the full browser are remembered per
tenant, so the second visit skips the retry (
/levirge-search:stealth). - A failure queue worth reading —
stealth_failureslists domains where the stealth browser itself got blocked, including regressions on domains that used to work. - A skill that fires on refusal —
web-fetch-fallbackteaches the agent to reach for this when its primary fetch says "blocked", instead of silently falling back to search.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
