Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server that converts PDFs, Office files, web pages and audio into Markdown, then lets an assistant search and ask questions across your document…

What you can do
  • Convert web pages, file URLs, small inline files and uploaded large or binary files into Markdown
  • List, fetch and semantically search documents stored in your LLMtoMD library
  • Answer questions from your documents with cited sources
  • List collections and their document counts, and save notes or Markdown into the library
  • Record a coding task's approved file boundary, check changed files against it, widen it with approval, and close or list tasks
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to read PDFs, Office documents, scanned files, websites or audio and work with them as Markdown, or to answer questions grounded in a personal document library without building your own ingestion pipeline.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install. Requires an LLMtoMD account (free sign-up) and OAuth 2.1 sign-in through your client, with no API keys to copy. A client that supports remote HTTP servers with OAuth is needed.
Before you install
Documents you convert are stored in your account until you delete them, and source files are processed on a third-party service. Conversions consume credits, so a paid plan may be needed beyond the free allowance. Uploaded files and URLs are sent to LLMtoMD. Tools can write to your library and record or change coding-task scopes.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open LLMtoMD in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.llmtomd%2Fllmtomd/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.
