Read-only price, stock and measured LLM speed data for local AI computers and graphics cards, searchable by budget, memory and model fit.
What you can do
Search machines and graphics cards by budget, memory and type, with price, measured tokens per second, value and check time
Fetch one machine in full by id or page URL: per-store prices with stock, price history summary and every published speed result with its source
Find which tracked machines can run a given open model, cheapest first, with measured speeds where available
List tracked open models with size, memory needed at 4-bit and 8-bit, and how many machines fit
List recent price drops, rises, restocks and newly tracked machines, with a since timestamp for incremental checks
When to use it
Useful when someone is choosing hardware for running local LLMs and wants current prices, stock and real measured tokens-per-second figures, or wants to know whether a specific open model fits on a given machine.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at localaiprices.com; no authentication, environment variables or headers declared. Network access is required.
Before you install
Read-only: nothing can be purchased through it. Prices are checked only once a day, so figures may lag the store; the server asks that the page link and check time be shown with any price. Speed results come from third parties and should keep their source links.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.localaiprices%2Flocalaiprices/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Find local AI computers and graphics cards by budget, memory and type. Returns price, measured tok/s, value (tok/s per 1,000 of currency), when the price was checked, and the page URL. Prices are checked once a day.
One machine in full by id (from search_machines) or page URL: price per store with stock and check time, price history summary, every published speed result with its source, and value.

find_for_model
Machines for a model
Which tracked machines can run an open model (4-bit weights fit in memory), cheapest first, with measured tok/s where someone has published a result. Use list_models for ids.
Price drops, price rises, restocks and newly tracked machines, newest first. Set since to a timestamp and only later changes come back; reuse next_since from the reply for the next call. Prices are checked once a day.

list_models
List models
The open models we track: id, size, memory needed at 4-bit and 8-bit, how many machines fit each and how many have a measured speed, and the page URL.
Takes no parameters.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
