Generate AI videos and images with Seedance, Kling, Wan, MiniMax, Seedream and Qwen in chat.
Overview
Remote MCP server that lets an assistant generate AI videos and images with models such as Seedance, Kling, Wan, MiniMax, Seedream and Qwen.
- What you can do
- Generate AI video from prompts using models such as Seedance, Kling, Wan and MiniMax
- Generate AI images using models such as Seedream and Qwen
- Work with these generative media models directly inside a chat session
- When to use it
- Useful when you want an assistant to produce short AI-generated videos or images from text prompts without leaving the conversation, and you are willing to connect an OAuth-authorized third-party service.
- Requirements
- A remote MCP endpoint at mcp.makernice.com over streamable HTTP; OAuth authentication is required. No environment variables, headers or local packages are declared.
Installation
In SourceWeft
- Open Makernice in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
- Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
- Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.makernice%2Fmakernice/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.Other MCP clients
Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Makernice plugin
Generate Seedance, Kling, Wan and MiniMax videos and Seedream and Qwen images with Makernice from Claude Code and other agents. The plugin connects your agent to the Makernice remote MCP server and adds four skills that guide the agent through pricing, generating and fetching results.
What it calls
- Remote service:
https://mcp.makernice.com/mcp(MCP over HTTP), run by Makernice. Your prompts, the image links you provide and the job parameters are sent to Makernice to price and run generation jobs. See the privacy policy and terms. - No other services. The plugin contains no code that runs on your machine; it only holds the server address and the skill instructions.
- Connecting: the first time you use it, approve the connection on the Makernice page that opens in your browser (in Claude Code, run
/mcpand choosemakernice). Nothing about your Makernice account is stored in this repository.
Pricing
- Prices are in USD and are deducted from your prepaid Makernice balance. The live price list is at makernice.com/pricing.
- Every job is priced before it runs. The agent shows you the price, and the job is refused if the price is higher than the cap you approved (
max_cost_usd). - Failed jobs are not charged: the held amount is released in full. Queued jobs can be canceled for a full release. If a finished output is blocked by output moderation for a policy violation, the job is still charged; you can contact support for a manual review. See failed generations.
- Each connection has a per-job limit and the account has a daily limit, both shown by
get_balance.

Install
Claude Code:
Cursor: copy this repository to ~/.cursor/plugins/local/makernice/, then run Developer: Reload Window.
Gemini CLI:
Hermes Agent: install and enable the plugin, then add the server to ~/.hermes/config.yaml with auth: oauth so Hermes connects your Makernice account through the browser. The browser step uses a localhost callback, so run it on the machine where your browser is.
LobeHub: add Makernice from the LobeHub MCP market.
Skills only, for other agents:
The skills need the Makernice MCP server. If your agent does not install it from .mcp.json, add https://mcp.makernice.com/mcp as a remote MCP server in its settings.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
