Overview

AI-generated overview

Resolves a person's LinkedIn profile URL from their name and company, using Google results via an Apify actor and returning a match confidence.

What you can do
  • Resolve a person's LinkedIn profile URL from a full name plus company domain or company name
  • Batch up to 500 people in one run, with optional job title, location, keywords and country
  • Return per-person rows with the profile URL, headline, follower count, match status and whether the company is current, former or only mentioned
  • Filter out posts, articles and directory pages so only profile URLs come back
When to use it
Useful when you have names and companies, for example from a CRM or lead list, and want LinkedIn profile links with a confidence signal before enriching or contacting people. It suits batch lookups where you can accept ambiguous or not-found results.
Requirements
Runs locally via npx, so Node.js 18 or newer is needed. An Apify account and an Apify API token set as the APIFY_TOKEN environment variable are required for calls; the tool is listed without one. Network access to Apify is needed.
Before you install
The APIFY_TOKEN is a billable account credential and should be kept private. Runs are billed per person searched to your Apify account, with a per-run start fee; blocked and error rows are free, and an optional cost cap input exists. Lookups send names and company details to Apify and Google, and results may be ambiguous or not found.

[Person LinkedIn URL Resolver MCP server]

Give it a person's name and company domain (or company name). Each run reads Google result pages through the Apify Google SERP proxy and returns one row per person with the LinkedIn profile URL, the headline and follower count Google shows, and a match confidence. It never opens LinkedIn and needs no LinkedIn account.

What's Inside

What it does

  • match_status is found at a confidence of 0.8 or more with a clear lead over every other profile, ambiguous (the likely URL), not_found, or blocked.
  • company_match says whether the company is current (headline or a present role), former (marked prev, ex, or former), or only mentioned.
  • Posts, articles, and directory pages are dropped; only /in/ profile URLs are returned.

All of the work runs on Apify. This package is a thin client that starts the actor run, waits for it, and hands back the dataset rows.

Quick start

You need Node.js 18 or newer and an Apify account with an API token.

Add this to your Claude Desktop config (claude_desktop_config.json), Cursor, or any MCP client:

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "mamba-person-linkedin-url-resolver": {      "command": "npx",      "args": [        "-y",        "@mambalabsdev/mcp-person-linkedin-url-resolver"      ],      "env": {        "APIFY_TOKEN": "your-apify-token"      }    }  }}

Restart the client. The resolve_person_linkedin_url tool appears.
