Daily Product Hunt launches with makers, website, company domain, votes, and topics

Overview

AI-generated overview

Fetches Product Hunt daily launches with makers, domains, votes and topics, returning one flat row per launch through an Apify actor.

What you can do
  • Retrieve Product Hunt launches for chosen days, with one row per launch covering name, tagline, rank, votes, comments and topics
  • Get maker names, headlines and profile links, plus the product's website, company domain and X and LinkedIn links
  • Filter launches by topic, keyword or minimum vote count, and optionally include today's list
  • Skip launches already returned by an earlier run using a named state key
  • Return one free summary row per day alongside the launch rows
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to pull recent Product Hunt launch data for research, lead sourcing, market scans or weekly roundups, especially filtered by topic or vote threshold.
Requirements
Runs locally via npx, so Node.js 18 or newer is needed. An Apify account and an Apify API token set as APIFY_TOKEN are required for any call; the tool is listed without one. Optionally, a Product Hunt developer token can be passed as a tool input. Network access to Apify is required.
Before you install
Calls spend money on your Apify account per launch row and per run start, so set the optional cost cap input where possible. The APIFY_TOKEN secret is required, and an optional Product Hunt developer token may also be supplied. Launch data is collected from Product Hunt pages through the Apify proxy and processed on Apify's platform, not locally.

Product Hunt Launches Feed MCP Server

An MCP server for the Mamba Labs Product Hunt Daily Launches with Maker Domains actor on Apify. Pick the days, and get one row per Product Hunt launch with the maker names, the product's website and company domain, its X and LinkedIn links, votes, rank, and topics.

What's Inside

What it does

The actor reads Product Hunt's public daily launch pages and each launch's product page through the Apify proxy, with robots.txt obeyed. The public daily page shows the day's top featured launches. With your own Product Hunt developer token (product_hunt_token), the daily lists come from the official Product Hunt API instead, and include_unfeatured adds the launches Product Hunt did not feature. Filter by topic, keyword, or minimum votes, and use only_new on a schedule. Each day also returns one free summary row.

All of the work runs on Apify. This package is a thin client that starts the actor run, waits for it, and hands back the dataset rows.

Quick start

You need Node.js 18 or newer and an Apify account with an API token.

Add this to your Claude Desktop config (claude_desktop_config.json), Cursor, or any MCP client:

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "mamba-product-hunt-launches-feed": {      "command": "npx",      "args": ["-y", "@mambalabsdev/mcp-product-hunt-launches-feed"],      "env": {        "APIFY_TOKEN": "your-apify-token"      }    }  }}

Restart the client. The get_product_hunt_launches tool appears.
