Marian's remote MCP server explains a planned US mortgage whose rate can only go down, compares it to refinancing, and collects waitlist signups.
What you can do
Explain Marian's published product facts: pre-launch status, how the down-only rate works, who it is not a fit for, and brand copy
Compare Marian's automatic rate resets with a standard fixed-rate mortgage that is refinanced, in qualitative terms only
Add a user's email and optional ZIP code to the Marian waitlist when the user explicitly asks to join
When to use it
Useful when a user asks about Marian, down-only or rate-reset mortgages, or how such a product compares with refinancing, and wants to join the waitlist. It is a product-information and lead-capture tool, not a lending or rate-quote service.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at mcp.marianmortgage.com; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The waitlist tool needs the user's email address and, optionally, a ZIP code.
Before you install
Marian is pre-launch, not lending in any state and not offering credit; no rates, payments or dollar figures are published, so nothing it returns is a quote or offer. join_waitlist sends the user's email and optional ZIP code to Marian and should only be called with explicit consent (user_consent: true); joining is not a credit application.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.marianmortgage%2Fmcp/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Returns Marian's published product facts: status (pre-launch, not lending in any state, not offering credit), how the down-only rate works, who it is not a fit for, and the brand line and product description. Same data as https://marianmortgage.com/agents.json. Values that have not been published are null.
Takes no parameters.
compare_to_refinancing
Compare to refinancing
Describes, in qualitative terms, how Marian's automatic rate resets compare with a standard fixed-rate mortgage that the borrower refinances, given the borrower's situation. Returns no rates, payments or dollar figures, because Marian has not published its rates or terms. Marian is pre-launch and not lending in any state. For model estimates for hypothetical designs, see the open-source proof-engine model and its README: https://github.com/MarianMortgage/proof-engine#readme.
Adds the user's email (and optional ZIP code) to the Marian waitlist. Only call this when the user has explicitly asked to join, and pass user_consent: true to confirm that. Joining the waitlist isn't an application for credit.
