Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted MCP server that connects Amazon Ads, Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Marketing Cloud data to AI assistants for read-only reporting and…

What you can do
  • Query Amazon Ads campaigns, ad groups, keywords, targets, product ads, portfolios and DSP, with metrics such as ACoS, ROAS, spend, search terms and budget pacing
  • Read Seller Central and Vendor Central data: sales, units, sessions, conversion, TACoS, orders, inventory and FBA, listings, Brand Analytics, settlements and fees
  • Run AMC SQL and curated Amazon Marketing Cloud reports
  • Get optimization guidance: daily recommendations, experiments with measured outcomes, budget and bid suggestions, stock- and Buy Box-aware advice
  • Work across multiple regions and profiles, grouped into brands for agencies
When to use it
Useful for Amazon advertisers, sellers, vendors and agencies that want to ask performance questions in plain English and get recommendations without exporting reports by hand. Suited to teams already using Amazon Ads or Seller Central who want an assistant to read that data.
Requirements
Remote Streamable HTTP endpoint with OAuth sign-in; nothing to install and no API key to copy for OAuth-capable clients. Clients without OAuth need an API token sent as a bearer token. Amazon accounts must be connected. MCP access requires a paid AI Connect plan starting at $10/week. An optional legacy npm stdio bridge needs Node.js and a BEARER_TOKEN.
Before you install
Read-only by default, but write access such as changing bids, budgets, keywords or listings is opt-in and each change asks for confirmation, so review those prompts carefully. Connecting Amazon accounts exposes advertising and sales data to the hosted service and to the AI client. API tokens act as credentials and should be kept secret. MCP access is a paid subscription.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Marketplace Ad Pros: Amazon Ads & Seller Central in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.marketplaceadpros%2Famazon-ads/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Marketplace Ad Pros MCP Server for Amazon Ads & Seller Central

[mcptry]

A hosted MCP server that connects your Amazon Ads, Seller Central, Vendor Central and Amazon Marketing Cloud data to Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, n8n and any other MCP-compatible client. Built by Marketplace Ad Pros, an Amazon Ads Verified Partner.

Remote endpoint (Streamable HTTP, OAuth):

https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp

There's nothing to install and no API key to copy. Add the URL to your client, sign in, and connect your Amazon accounts. Access is read-only by default. Write access, such as changing bids, budgets, keywords or listings, is opt-in, and each change asks you to confirm it.

Registry name: com.marketplaceadpros/amazon-ads

What you can do with it

  • Amazon Ads: Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display campaigns, ad groups, keywords, targets, product ads and portfolios, plus Amazon DSP. Ask about performance in plain English: ACoS, ROAS, spend, search terms, wasted spend, placement and budget pacing.
  • Seller Central & Vendor Central (Selling Partner API): total sales, units, sessions and conversion, TACoS, orders, inventory and FBA, listings, Search Query Performance, Brand Analytics, settlements and fees.
  • Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC): run AMC SQL and curated AMC reports.
  • Optimization: daily recommendations, experiments with measured outcomes, budget and bid recommendations from Amazon, and stock- and Buy Box-aware guidance.
  • Multi-account: one connection covers every region (NA, EU, FE) and every profile you have access to. You can group ad accounts into brands, which suits agencies.

Connect

Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop)

Go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp, and sign in when prompted.

Claude Code

bash
claude mcp add --transport http marketplace-ad-pros https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp

Then run /mcp inside Claude Code to authenticate.

ChatGPT

Add a custom connector (app) with the URL https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp and sign in when prompted.

Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf and other JSON-configured clients

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "marketplace-ad-pros": {      "type": "streamable-http",      "url": "https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp"    }  }}

Clients without OAuth (n8n, LibreChat, scripts)

Create an API token in the Marketplace Ad Pros app and send it as a bearer token:

yaml
MAP: type: streamable-http url: https://app.marketplaceadpros.com/mcp headers: Authorization: "Bearer <your token>"

Pricing

Signing up and connecting your Amazon accounts is free. MCP access starts at $10/week on the AI Connect plan. See pricing.

Legacy: local stdio bridge (npm)

This repository also contains @marketplaceadpros/amazon-ads-mcp-server, a small stdio bridge from 2025 for clients that couldn't connect to remote MCP servers. It forwards every call to the remote endpoint above. Most clients can now connect to that endpoint directly, so use it, and keep the bridge only for clients that need stdio.

stdio bridge setup

Set BEARER_TOKEN to an API token from Marketplace Ad Pros:

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "marketplaceadpros": {      "command": "npx",      "args": ["@marketplaceadpros/amazon-ads-mcp-server"],      "env": {        "BEARER_TOKEN": "<your token>"      }    }  }}

To build from source:

bash
npm installnpm run build # or: npm run watchnpm run inspector # debug with the MCP Inspector
