Ask what your team decided in meetings, get your standup, and update Jira/Linear-synced tasks.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Align's hosted MCP server lets an assistant answer questions about your team's meetings, decisions and tasks, and update Jira/Linear-synced work items.

What you can do
  • Ask cited questions across meetings, decisions, docs, chat and tasks
  • List and read meetings with summaries, decisions, action items and risks
  • Browse decisions and your own tasks and action items
  • Generate a standup from tickets, PRs, commits and blockers
  • Find the ticket behind a commit or branch
  • Create, update and comment on tasks, syncing changes to Jira/Linear
When to use it
Useful when your team records meetings and decisions in Align and you want an assistant to recall what was decided, who owns what, and what is due, or to move and annotate synced Jira/Linear tickets from chat.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint with OAuth 2.1 sign-in; no install or local runtime. You need an Align account, and the first call opens a browser to sign in and approve the client.
Before you install
Task tools act as the signed-in user and write to Align and to synced Jira/Linear issues: creating tasks, changing stage, title, description, priority or due date, and posting comments. The assistant sees what you see in Align, including meeting transcripts and chat, which are sent to the model provider.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Align in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.meet-align%2Falign/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

Align MCP server

[M8ven Score]

Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client about your team's meetings: what was decided, who owns what, what's due this week, and what you got done yesterday. Answers come with citations back to the meeting.

Align turns meetings into decisions and tickets synced with Jira and Linear. This is its hosted MCP server. There's nothing to install or run: connect to the URL and sign in with OAuth.
