Overview

AI-generated overview

Connects an assistant to a self-hosted WordPress site through AI Engine, letting it read, create and edit posts, media, terms and comments.

What you can do
  • Read posts, pages and custom post types, including full content, custom fields, terms, featured image and author
  • Inspect site structure: post types, taxonomies, terms, counts, comments and editor notes, and site info
  • Create and update posts, schedule publication, write block editor content, and find-and-replace text in a field
  • Manage taxonomy terms and attach them to posts, and set or remove featured images
  • List, upload and update Media Library items, and list block patterns
  • Create and moderate comments, and add, edit or resolve editor notes
When to use it
Useful when you want an assistant to draft, edit or audit content on your own WordPress site, or to look up posts, media and taxonomy data without opening the admin dashboard.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at connect.meowapps.com, reached over streamable HTTP. The site must run the AI Engine plugin, and the connection uses OAuth with the user's own WordPress permissions. No API key or account is declared.
Before you install
Tools can create, update and trash posts, upload media, change terms and moderate comments, all with the connecting user's WordPress permissions. New content defaults to draft, and deletion only moves items to the trash. Uploading media can make WordPress download a public URL you supply.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open AI Engine for WordPress in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.meowapps%2Fai-engine/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
