Project management (PMO) data for AI: projects, risks, status reports, time tracking.

VerifiedStreamable HTTPWeb executableProductivity & WorkflowData & Analytics

Overview

AI-generated overview

Hosted Meridian MCP server that lets an assistant read PMO data — projects, risks, status reports, stakeholders and time — and log time or save status reports.

What you can do
  • Browse projects, milestones, risks, change requests and stakeholders
  • Read status reports and their context, plus retrospectives and action items
  • Review time entries, timesheet summaries, time projects, tags and the active timer
  • Check team status, resources, your own access and the access matrix
  • Log, update and manage time entries and timers, and create status reports
  • Send a bug report or feature request to the Meridian team
When to use it
Useful when your organization runs projects in Meridian and you want an assistant to answer questions about project status, risks, stakeholders or your timesheet, or to record time and draft status reports without switching apps.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint at the Meridian address, with OAuth sign-in (recommended) or a personal access token sent as an Authorization Bearer header. A paid Meridian plan (Professional, Team or Enterprise), an admin who enables the integration, and a role that permits access; guests cannot connect.
Before you install
Writes are gated by a separate organization switch and act with your role's permissions; OAuth approval ticks write permissions by default, so untick them if you only want read access. The assistant can create and change time entries and status reports. A personal access token is a credential — revoke it under Settings, Integrations if exposed. Bug reports are sent to the Meridian team.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Meridian in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.meridian4pm%2Fmeridian/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Meridian MCP server

Connect your AI tool to Meridian, the project management office (PMO) workspace. Ask Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP client about your projects, risks, status reports, stakeholders and time, and let it log time or save a status report for you.

This is a hosted (remote) server. There is nothing to install or run.

Use the www address exactly as shown. Full setup guide for each client: https://www.meridian4pm.com/mcp-server

Before you connect

  • A paid plan. The MCP server is part of the Professional, Team and Enterprise plans.
  • An admin turns it on under Settings, Integrations. Writes are a separate switch, off until an admin allows them.
  • Your role sets the limits. Your AI tool acts as you. Viewers can read but never write. Guests cannot connect.

Connect

OAuth (recommended). Add a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP) with the address above. Your client opens Meridian in the browser, you sign in, and you approve the connection. Every app is offered the same access: everything your role and your organization allow, with the write permissions ticked by default. You can untick them.

Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http --scope user meridian https://www.meridian4pm.com/api/mcp

Cursor, VS Code and similar clients (mcp.json):

json
{  "servers": {    "meridian": { "type": "http", "url": "https://www.meridian4pm.com/api/mcp" }  }}

Personal access token. For a client without OAuth, create a token in Meridian under Settings, Integrations and send it as a header:

Authorization: Bearer <your token>

Writes can be previewed first, a retry never creates a duplicate, and edits refuse to overwrite a change made since you last looked.

Security

  • Every request runs with your role and project access. If you cannot see something in Meridian, your AI tool cannot either.
  • Disconnect an app or revoke a token under Settings, Integrations and it stops working at once. Changing your password also disconnects your connections.
  • Every tool call is recorded against the connection that made it.
  • Connections last up to 90 days. Anonymous retrospective cards never reveal their author.
