Remote MCP server that lets an assistant search and read Mode VC's Chart of the Day archive of empirical AI adoption and venture charts.
What you can do
Search the chart archive by keyword across titles, claims, takeaways and keywords
Fetch the latest charts from the Chart of the Day archive, newest first
Retrieve a single chart's published data table, claim, takeaway, note and cited sources by slug or title
Return canonical URLs, markdown endpoints and source links for each chart
When to use it
Useful when you need sourced, quotable figures on AI model adoption, developer package usage, pricing or venture trends, and want the underlying data table rather than a summary. Good for quick research lookups where each claim should come with its original sources.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no package, account, API key or environment variable is declared. Network access to the provider's endpoint is required.
Before you install
The archive is read-only and grows by one chart per day, so results reflect what the provider has published, not a live dataset. Figures are as published on each chart page; follow the cited source links for original data. Queries are sent to the provider's remote endpoint.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.modevc%2Fai-charts/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Returns the most recent charts from Mode VC's Chart of the Day archive (one new chart per day, mostly AI model, adoption, developer-package and pricing data), newest first, each with its claim, takeaway, URL and cited sources.
