Remote MCP server exposing Mode VC's Chart of the Day archive, letting an assistant search charts and pull the data tables behind them.
What you can do
Browse the newest Chart of the Day entries, mostly AI model, adoption, developer-package and pricing data
Search the whole archive by keyword over titles, claims, takeaways and keywords
Retrieve a single chart by slug or title, with its data table, claim, takeaway, note and cited sources
Follow cited source links back to the original data
When to use it
Useful when you want quick, sourced figures on AI model pricing, adoption or developer-package trends, for example comparing cost per million tokens over time, without building your own data collection.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint at modevc.com; no authentication, environment variables or headers are declared, so only network access is needed.
Before you install
Data is published as-is on the chart pages and is not independently verified; treat figures as secondary sources and check the cited sources for anything important. The archive grows by one chart per day, so coverage is limited to what Mode VC has published.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.modevc%2Fchart-llm-api-pricing-history/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Returns the most recent charts from Mode VC's Chart of the Day archive (one new chart per day, mostly AI model, adoption, developer-package and pricing data), newest first, each with its claim, takeaway, URL and cited sources.
