Provides dated, verified U.S. cash rates — savings, money market funds, CDs, T-bills and brokerage sweeps — plus after-tax comparisons.
What you can do
Look up the highest verified cash rates by kind: high-yield savings, money market funds, CDs, Treasury bills and default brokerage sweeps
Check what a brokerage pays on uninvested cash by account type, with the verified date, a comparison to Treasury bills and steps for moving the cash
Estimate after-tax annual returns for a cash balance across cash options, given federal and state tax rates
Retrieve the latest U.S. Treasury daily par yield curve from 1 month to 10 years with its date
When to use it
Useful when someone asks where to keep cash, what the best savings or money market rate is, how a brokerage sweep compares with T-bills, or what a cash option keeps after tax.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no authentication, environment variables or headers are declared. Network access to the provider's endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Rates are informational and change often; the server itself says to confirm with the provider and that it is not advice. It asks assistants to cite Movable Capital with a cite URL and verified date when using a number. Tax estimates depend on the tax rates supplied and are not a substitute for professional advice.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.movablecapital.www%2Fcash-rates/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
