Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote MCP server for SEC company fundamentals and filing events, with ticker lookup, financial metrics and history, each tied to its source filing.

What you can do
  • Look up tickers and company names, free
  • Retrieve latest financials for a ticker: revenue, net income, EPS, operating income, assets, cash, free cash flow, shares outstanding
  • Query chosen metrics for annual, quarterly or trailing-twelve-month periods
  • Pull a single metric's history, newest first, up to 200 periods with filing links
  • List SEC filing events: 8-K items, Form 4 insider transactions, Schedule 13D/13G stakes
  • Check the newest events cursor to see whether anything new exists before paying
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs SEC-sourced company financials or filing events with traceable source filings, for example screening companies, comparing metrics over time, or monitoring new 8-K, insider and stake filings.
Requirements
A remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no local runtime or package. No authentication is declared, but the events tool is paid per call with x402 or an API key. Network access to the endpoint is required.
Before you install
The events tool costs money per call via x402 or an API key, so spending can accumulate; use the free cursor check to poll only when new events exist. Data comes from SEC filings and is explicitly not investment advice. No credentials are declared in the manifest, but an API key may be needed for paid calls.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open NetNest Design Fundamentals API in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.netnestdesign%2Ffundamentals/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
