Remote MCP server for gas prices and USD transaction costs across six chains, cheapest-chain ranking, and converting web pages to Markdown.
What you can do
List the six supported chains (Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana) and the gas-unit constants used by the paid tools
Fetch current gas and fee prices per chain with slow, standard and fast tiers and USD costs for transfers, USDC transfers and swaps
Rank all supported chains by the USD cost of a chosen transaction type and speed tier to find the cheapest option
Convert a public web page into clean Markdown with title, byline, site name, excerpt, word count and article body
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs live gas estimates or a comparison of where a transaction is cheapest across chains, or when it needs readable text from a web page without building a scraper.
Requirements
Runs as a remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. The gas price and comparison tools are paid per call via x402, so a client able to handle HTTP 402 payment requirements is needed. Network access to the endpoint and to the pages being fetched.
Before you install
The gas price and comparison tools are paid per call through x402, so calls can spend money; check pricing and payment handling before use. The URL tool fetches public pages and respects robots.txt, but content is sent to a third-party service.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.nythosx.tools%2Fagent-tools/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
List supported chains (Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana) and the gas-unit constants used by the paid tools (free). Always returns the full, unfiltered list of all 6 chains (no input/filter params). gasUnits.{transfer|usdc_transfer|swap} are plain integers: the gas units a typical transaction of that type costs on an EVM chain (evm) or in Solana compute units (svm) — multiply by the chain's current fee from get_gas_price to estimate USD cost yourself, or just call get_gas_price/compare_gas_costs which already does this.
Takes no parameters.
get_gas_price
Current gas and fee prices for one chain. Current gas and fee prices for Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon or Solana: slow/standard/fast tiers and the USD cost of a transfer, USDC transfer and swap. Updated every 15 seconds. Paid via x402: the first call returns 402 with payment requirements; retry with a PAYMENT-SIGNATURE header (or, over MCP, with payment in _meta["x402/payment"]) to get the 200 response — failed/unpaid calls are never charged. Costs $0.002 USDC per call (x402).

compare_gas_costs
Where is it cheapest to send this transaction right now?. Ranks all 6 supported chains (Base, Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Solana) by the USD cost of a specific transaction type (transfer, USDC transfer or swap) at a specific speed tier (slow, standard or fast). Returns the sorted ranking, the cheapest chain and any chains that could not be queried (in failed[]). Queries all 6 chains' RPCs in parallel per call; a slow or unresponsive chain lands in failed[] rather than blocking the response. Costs $0.005 USDC per call (x402).

read_url_as_markdown
Convert any web page into clean, readable Markdown. Fetches a public web page and returns clean Markdown: title, byline, site name, excerpt, word count and the extracted article body. Use it to give an AI agent readable text from a URL without writing your own scraper. Respects robots.txt, blocks private hosts, follows at most five redirects, caps the page at 3 MB. Pass links=true to also get the page's outbound links. Failure modes (all return a non-2xx status and are not charged): 403 blocked_by_robots_txt if the site disallows the path; 415 unsupported_content_type for non-HTML responses (e.g. PDFs, images, JSON APIs); 422 no_readable_content if the page has no extractable article text (e.g. a pure JS app shell); 502 upstream_unavailable or upstream_status if the target site errors or times out. Costs $0.003 USDC per call (x402).

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
