Remote MCP server that renders hosted Open Graph social card PNGs and returns stable image URLs for use in og:image tags.
What you can do
Render a hosted Open Graph PNG from a title and theme, returning a stable image URL for og:image tags, at one credit per image and requiring an API key. Build a hosted card from a public page's title, description, favicon and theme color, also one credit and requiring a key. Look up credit packs, which never expire and are bought as one-time PayPal payments rather than a subscription.
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs to generate social preview images for pages or posts and get back a hosted URL to embed in metadata, without running its own rendering pipeline.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at ogstamp.com; no local runtime or package needed. An api_key (ogs_ prefix) bought from the provider's pricing page is required by the image tools. Network access to the service.
Before you install
Image tools consume paid credits (one per image) and require an api_key; keep the key out of shared output. The server creates hosted images on the provider's infrastructure, so titles and page content sent to it leave your environment. Pricing tool only reports credit packs; purchases happen outside the server.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.ogstamp%2Fog/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
import { OgStamp } from "ogstamp";const og = new OgStamp({ apiKey: process.env.OGSTAMP_API_KEY });// Stable URL for og:image. One credit. The key never appears in the HTML.const card = await og.store({ title: "Ship social cards from an API", theme: "forest" });// card.url → https://ogstamp.com/i/….png// card.html → <meta property="og:image" content="https://ogstamp.com/i/….png" />// Same card, built from a page's own title, description, and favicon.const fromPage = await og.storeFromUrl({ url: "https://example.com/blog/post" });
Try before you buy
render() and auto() work without a key. Those PNGs are watermarked and capped at 10 per site per day. Use store() or storeFromUrl() for anything you put in og:image.
Build a hosted Open Graph PNG and return a stable https://ogstamp.com/i/{id}.png URL for og:image. Requires api_key (ogs_… from https://ogstamp.com/pricing/). One credit per image. Does not return a free hotlink.
