Lets an assistant search OptiLibra's optical networking catalog, read product specs, and submit quote requests for AI and data center networks.
What you can do
Search the catalog of optical networking equipment, including 400G/800G DCI/DWDM transport, optical switches and OXC matrices, EDFA amplifiers, OLP protection, OTDR/OCM monitoring, WSS and passive DWDM components. Retrieve documented specifications, images and source for a single product by slug or model. Submit a request for quotation to OptiLibra and receive a tracking ID.
When to use it
Useful when comparing optical transport, switching or DWDM components for AI or data center networks, or when a buyer wants documented specs and a formal quote from OptiLibra.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint at optilibra.com; no packages, environment variables or headers declared. A quote request needs the buyer's real name, work email, company and country.
Before you install
request_quote sends buyer contact details (name, work email, company, country) to OptiLibra and creates a real RFQ; only call it when the buyer has explicitly asked. Prices, reach, OSNR and lead times are not documented and are confirmed per quote.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.optilibra%2Fcatalog/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Search OptiLibra's catalog of optical networking equipment for AI and data center networks: 400G/800G DCI/DWDM transport (DCI5800, DCI5800-T8E2 800G transponder), optical switches and OXC matrices up to 64×64, EDFA amplifiers, OLP protection, OTDR/OCM monitoring, WSS and passive DWDM components. Returns product names, summaries and URLs.
