Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote, read-only market research server giving an assistant perpetual-futures data across 40 venues, prop-firm terms, and dated investment theses on 6,100+…

What you can do
  • Look up perpetual futures: one market venue by venue, whole-market funding spreads, movers and liquidations, and 1–90 day history with order-book depth and large-account positioning
  • Research perps prop firms: rules, challenge pricing net of current codes, jurisdictions and platforms, plus the OptimistFi perps desk's news, tracked traders and wallets
  • Read a stock's investment case: full answer with valuation and latest quarter, the standing thesis with its break conditions, thesis impact of a metric, and the dated track record
  • Compare two or more companies on valuation and investment case, and see what changed since a date
  • Pull company disclosures and events: 8-K filings, press releases…
When to use it
Useful when a user asks about perpetual-futures funding, leverage, liquidation levels or positioning across venues, about prop-firm rules and challenge prices, or wants a sourced, dated investment case on a US-listed company backed by filings and insider or congressional trades.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; no API key or account required. The assistant client must support remote MCP servers (Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, ChatGPT and others). Network access to the provider's endpoint is needed.
Before you install
Read-only and does not execute transactions, but it returns market data and research, not personalized investment advice; treat theses and track records as the provider's own dated opinions. Responses are attributed to third-party sources, so verify before acting on them. No credentials are requested.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open OptimistFi in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.optimistfi%2Foptimistfi/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
