Overview

AI-generated overview

A hosted, read-only MCP server that lets an AI assistant query analytics, viewers, links, connections and contacts for your own Osboon digital business cards.

What you can do
Read card analytics for today, 7 or 30 days and compare cards by visits to find the best performer. See who viewed your cards by country, city, device type and time, with privacy-floored results. Get the public URL and slug of a card. List your active network connections and the contact channels on your own profile. Look up the reference list of languages Osboon supports.
When to use it
Useful when you manage Osboon digital business cards and want to ask plain-language questions about visits, viewers, card performance, connections or your own contact details without opening the dashboard.
Requirements
A remote server at osboon.com over Streamable HTTP; nothing to install. Requires an Osboon account and OAuth 2.1 sign-in with consent in a browser, using scoped tokens such as analytics:read, contact:read, profile:read and card:read. Network access is needed.
Before you install
Access is read-only and no tool can create, change or delete account data. Viewer data is limited to dashboard-grade fields (country, city, device type, visit time), never IP addresses or user agents, and small ranges return only a count. Sign-in happens on osboon.com so the password is not shared with the assistant; access can be revoked from Osboon settings or by removing the connector.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open Osboon in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Connect the required credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
  3. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.osboon%2Fosboon/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Other MCP clients

Add this to your client's mcpServers config. The client completes OAuth sign-in on first connect.

README

Osboon MCP Server

Connect your AI assistant to your Osboon account and ask questions about your own digital business cards in plain language — "How many visits did my card get this week?", "Who viewed it, and from where?", "Which of my cards performs best?". Read-only, free, and you can disconnect at any time.

Server address:

https://osboon.com/mcp/
  • Transport: Streamable HTTP (remote server — nothing to install or run)
  • Auth: OAuth 2.1 — authorization code + PKCE, with dynamic client registration and automatic discovery. You sign in on osboon.com; your password never touches the assistant.
  • Access: read-only, 7 tools, free with any Osboon account

Connect

Full step-by-step guides for every supported client, with screenshots: osboon.com/mcp/connect

Chat apps (Claude, Mistral Le Chat, and other MCP-capable assistants): add a custom connector and paste the server address above — the guide covers each one.

CLI / dev tools:

bash
# Claude Codeclaude mcp add --transport http osboon https://osboon.com/mcp/
# Codex CLIcodex mcp add osboon --url https://osboon.com/mcp/

Generic MCP client config (VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Zed, Goose, LM Studio, Warp, Gemini CLI, Qwen Code CLI, …):

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "osboon": {      "type": "http",      "url": "https://osboon.com/mcp/"    }  }}

Your client opens a browser window to osboon.com, you sign in and approve, and the tools appear. About two minutes, once.

Security & privacy

  • Read-only. No tool can create, change, or delete anything on your account.
  • Your password never reaches the assistant. Sign-in and consent happen on osboon.com (OAuth 2.1); the assistant only ever holds a scoped token.
  • Scoped tokens. Access is split into analytics:read, contact:read, profile:read, and card:read — a token carries only what it needs.
  • Viewer data is dashboard-grade only. list_card_viewers returns the same fields your own dashboard shows — country, city, device type, visit time — never IP addresses or user agents. Ranges with fewer visits than the privacy floor return only a count, no rows.
  • Disconnect any time. On osboon.com: Settings → Security → Agents. Or remove the connector in your AI client — either side kills the access.

How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
