Remote MCP server that lets an assistant search live products across Shopify merchants and major retailers and return normalized listings with prices and buy…
What you can do
Search live products across Shopify merchants and major retailers
Return normalized results with title, price, currency, merchant, buy link, image, shipping destinations and source
Show the required commission disclosure text alongside product links
When to use it
Useful when an assistant needs current product listings, prices or purchase links for shopping questions, rather than static catalog data. It is a single-tool server, so it fits narrow product-search needs.
Requirements
Remote endpoint at api.osmanth.com over streamable HTTP. A free API key is required, sent in the X-API-Key header (the instructions also mention an Authorization bearer token). Network access to the service is needed.
Before you install
The API key is a credential and must be kept private. Results include affiliate buy links, and the server requires showing a commission disclosure near them. The server asks that results not be cached and images not be downloaded; follow those terms when using it.
Connect X-API-Key credentials. They are stored privately and never shown on public pages.
Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.
Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.
Use with an agent
Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.
Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.osmanth%2Fshop-search/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.
Search live products across Shopify merchants (Shopify Global Catalog) and major retailers (Channel3). Returns normalized products with title, price, currency, merchant, buy_url, image_url, ships_to and source. Always show the `disclosure` text to the user near the links. Do not cache results.
How complete this listing is, computed from the registry entry, the endpoint and public sources. Not a rating of the server and not a statement that it is safe or working today: reachability is a dated check, and no installs or reviews go into the score.
