Overview

AI-generated overview

ParikshaIndex lets an assistant search Indian government exams and jobs and pull one exam's dates, status, eligibility facts and official PDF notices.

What you can do
  • Search the index of Indian government exams, recruiting bodies, state and qualification job lists and official notices
  • Retrieve a single exam's details by slug: current status and date, section pages such as result, admit card and answer key, curated facts with official sources, and newest official documents with PDF links
When to use it
When a user asks about an Indian government exam or recruitment — dates, results, admit cards, answer keys, cut-offs, syllabus, vacancies or eligibility — or wants to know which government jobs are currently open.
Requirements
Remote streamable HTTP endpoint; no authentication, environment variables or headers declared. Network access to the provider's site is needed.
Before you install
The provider states it is independent and not a government site, so users should apply only on official websites; answers should be taken from tool results and official PDFs rather than assumed. Queries are sent to a third-party service.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open ParikshaIndex in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.parikshaindex%2Fparikshaindex/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

Search exams and jobs

Search ParikshaIndex's index of Indian government exams, recruiting bodies, state and qualification job lists and official notices. Use it when the user asks about a government exam or job (dates, result, admit card, answer key, cut-off, syllabus, vacancies, eligibility) or which jobs are open for a qualification or state. Query in English, e.g. 'ssc gd answer key 2026', 'rrb ntpc', 'bihar govt jobs', '12th pass'; stage words and a year narrow it. Returns up to 10 matches, best first, each with its ParikshaIndex page; exams also carry a `slug` for get_exam. Read-only, no side effects. Limitations: covers only what commissions have published on their official websites and ParikshaIndex has indexed; an empty result means nothing matched, not that no such exam exists.

get_exam

Get exam details

Get one exam's details: current status and date, its ParikshaIndex section pages (result, admit card, answer key…), curated facts with their official sources (vacancies, age, fee, qualification, pay, dates) and its newest official documents with PDF links. Use it after search_exams, with the `slug` of the exam result. Read-only, no side effects. Limitations: facts are present only for exams ParikshaIndex has checked (`facts` is then omitted); dates are as the commission published them and may change, so users should confirm on the official website.
