Overview

AI-generated overview

PastCharts gives an assistant free daily history of App Store and Google Play top charts and Google trending searches, with app search and rank history.

What you can do
  • Search apps by name or developer and get store, id and best saved rank
  • Fetch a saved App Store or Google Play top chart for a country and day
  • Retrieve every saved chart an app appeared on, with daily ranks
  • Get top Google trending searches for a country on a past day
  • Get the biggest trending searches for a country by month or year
  • Find searches that trended in the most countries on a day or in a year
When to use it
Useful when you need historical app store rankings or past Google trending searches for a country, for example to compare app popularity over time or look back at what trended on a given day, month or year.
Requirements
A remote endpoint at pastcharts.com over streamable HTTP; no packages, environment variables or headers are declared. Data is historical snapshots only, starting from 2026-11-06 for charts and 2024-11-28 for trending searches.
Before you install
Results are saved daily snapshots, not live data; the server itself points to Apify scrapers for live figures, which may involve separate accounts or costs. Some days are missing from trending search data, and no authentication is declared.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open PastCharts in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.pastcharts%2Fcharts/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows
