Anonymous eSIMs, phone numbers, and SMS codes in 190+ countries. Crypto-paid; agents self-onboard.

Overview

AI-generated overview

Remote PikaSim server that lets an assistant search, price and buy anonymous eSIM data plans, real phone-number eSIMs and SMS verification numbers in 190+…

What you can do
  • Search and compare eSIM plans, phone-number plans and country coverage, with details and USD pricing
  • Buy data eSIMs and phone-number eSIMs from a prepaid wallet and get activation info (ICCID, QR, SM-DP+)
  • Track owned eSIMs: status, remaining data, expiry, top-up options, top-ups, cancellations and order history
  • Manage the wallet: balance, ledger, deposits and self-created agent wallets
  • Find SMS verification services and countries, then buy quick one-time codes and poll for the incoming SMS
  • Rent long-term receive-only SMS numbers, read their inbox, extend or cancel them
When to use it
Useful when an assistant should handle travel connectivity or phone numbers end to end: comparing data plans for a country, buying and activating an eSIM, or obtaining a temporary number to receive a verification code. Also fits autonomous or headless agents that need to onboard and pay without a human.
Requirements
A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint; nothing to install locally. Browsing works without a key. Purchasing needs a prepaid agent wallet, connected either through OAuth on the wallet endpoint or with an Authorization Bearer ak_live_ key; a wallet can be created by the create_wallet tool or on the PikaSim site. Funding is by crypto or card through a deposit invoice.
Before you install
Purchases, top-ups, rentals and extensions spend real money from the prepaid wallet and are largely irreversible; top-ups cannot be undone. The ak_live_ key and wallet code are shown once and grant spending access, so store them carefully. create_wallet lets an agent mint a wallet and key without human approval. SMS numbers are receive-only and rentals are stated as not for banking or financial verification. Order, wallet and eSIM data are sent to PikaSim.

Installation

In SourceWeft

  1. Open PikaSim in the dashboard and add it to a workspace.
  2. Enable the server for the chats that should use its tools.

Web executable via Streamable HTTP. Remote servers run from the web runtime once configured in a workspace.

Use with an agent

Paste this prompt into Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or another agent — or into SourceWeft chat. The agent reads this server's install guide, shows you its publisher, endpoint and sign-in, and adds it to your client once you agree. Keys never go into a command.

Read https://sourceweft.com/mcp/com.pikasim%2Fpikasim/install.md and connect the MCP server it describes to my client. Before changing any config, show me its publisher, endpoint and sign-in method and wait for my OK. Never put an API key in a command or in a file I would commit; ask me where it should come from.

Read the install guide the agent follows

README

PikaSim MCP Server

Buy eSIMs from an AI agent — no account, no email, no KYC. Anonymous data plans, real carrier phone numbers, and SMS verification numbers across 190+ countries, settled in crypto from a prepaid agent wallet.

PikaSim is a remote, hosted MCP server (Streamable HTTP). You don't run any code — just point your AI agent at the URL and it can search plans, check coverage, get pricing, and (with a funded agent wallet) purchase eSIMs and SMS numbers autonomously.

Install as an agent skill

This repo also ships a pikasim agent skill — an installable instruction package that teaches any skill-capable agent (Claude Code, claude.ai, and other SKILL.md-compatible hosts) when and how to buy connectivity from PikaSim, including the no-MCP REST fallback and the cold-start wallet flow:

bash
npx skills add codebruinc/pikasim-mcp

or copy skills/pikasim/ into your agent's skills directory (e.g. ~/.claude/skills/pikasim/).

Quick start

Add PikaSim to your AI agent's MCP config:

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "pikasim": {      "type": "streamable-http",      "url": "https://pikasim.com/mcp"    }  }}

That's it — your agent can now search data and phone-number eSIM plans, check country coverage, and get pricing for 190+ countries. No API key needed for browsing.

To purchase too, connect https://pikasim.com/mcp/wallet instead — it triggers a one-click OAuth flow where you authorize a free, prepaid agent wallet by pasting your wallet code (no key handling, no account, no email). See Authentication.

Fully autonomous: from zero to buying, no human

A terminal or headless agent (Claude Code, a script, an autonomous loop) needs no browser and no person. Connect the keyless https://pikasim.com/mcp and onboard in four calls:

jsonc
// 1. The agent creates its own wallet — returns a wallet code, an ak_live_ key,//    and a small spend-only welcome credit. No account, email, KYC, or browser.{ "tool": "create_wallet", "arguments": { "acceptTos": true } }
// 2. Reconnect with the returned key: Authorization: Bearer ak_live_...// (or use the URL https://pikasim.com/mcp/ak_live_YOUR_KEY)
// 3. Confirm the welcome credit is there{ "tool": "check_balance", "arguments": {} }          // -> $1.00
// 4. Buy — the welcome credit covers a first eSIM data plan (from $0.75); SMS numbers need a $1 deposit{ "tool": "order_sms_verification", "arguments": { "serviceId": "817", "countryId": "2" } }

That's the whole loop: no human, no browser, no card, no account. When the agent needs more funds, create_deposit returns Lightning, USDT, Monero, and Bitcoin destinations it can pay itself. Save the wallet code and key from the create_wallet response — each is shown once.

Three product lines

Don't assume "eSIM" means data-only. PikaSim sells:

  1. Data eSIMs — anonymous data plans across 190+ countries, from $0.75. Discover with search_esim_packages / check_country_coverage; buy with purchase_esim.
  2. Phone-number eSIMs — a real carrier phone number (not VoIP) with voice calls, SMS, and data. US plans give a real +1 number on AT&T and T-Mobile; global plans cover 157 countries. Discover with search_phone_plans; buy with purchase_phone_plan.
  3. SMS verification numbers — receive-only numbers for getting verification codes, no eSIM involved. Quick SMS: a one-time code on a temporary number, auto-refund if nothing arrives in 20 minutes (search_sms_services → get_sms_service_countries → order_sms_verification → poll check_sms_verification). Long-term rentals: keep a number for days to months and receive multiple SMS, with live stock shown per duration (list_sms_rentals → rent_sms_number → get_sms_rental_messages / extend_sms_rental).

search_esim_packages and check_country_coverage return both eSIM lines in separate buckets. Package codes appear in [brackets] — pass them to the matching purchase tool.

Setup guides

PikaSim is a remote MCP server at https://pikasim.com/mcp. The config key and steps differ per client.

Claude Desktop

Remote servers are added as Connectors, not via claude_desktop_config.json. Go to Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. To browse, paste https://pikasim.com/mcp. To purchase, paste https://pikasim.com/mcp/wallet and click Connect — Claude opens a PikaSim page where you authorize a wallet by pasting your wallet code (one-click OAuth, no key in the URL).

Claude Code (CLI)

bash
# Browse only (also lets the agent self-onboard via the create_wallet tool)claude mcp add --transport http pikasim https://pikasim.com/mcp
# With purchasing via key (recommended for headless/terminal agents)claude mcp add --transport http pikasim https://pikasim.com/mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer ak_live_YOUR_KEY"
# With purchasing via OAuth: add the wallet URL, then run /mcp inside Claude# Code and pick "Authenticate" — a browser opens the PikaSim consent page# where you paste your wallet codeclaude mcp add --transport http pikasim https://pikasim.com/mcp/wallet

No wallet yet? Connect the browse URL above and ask the agent to call create_wallet — it mints a wallet + ak_live_ key + welcome credit in one call, then reconnect with the key (--header "Authorization: Bearer ak_live_…"). Fully autonomous, no browser. See Fully autonomous.

Cursor / Windsurf / other JSON-config clients

json
{  "mcpServers": {    "pikasim": {      "type": "streamable-http",      "url": "https://pikasim.com/mcp"    }  }}

To purchase from clients that support MCP OAuth (Cursor does), use https://pikasim.com/mcp/wallet as the URL instead — the client opens the PikaSim consent page where you paste your wallet code.

ChatGPT (custom connector)

Add a custom connector with URL https://pikasim.com/mcp to browse, or https://pikasim.com/mcp/wallet to purchase (the wallet URL triggers OAuth — authorize by pasting your wallet code).

Authentication

Browsing is open at https://pikasim.com/mcp. To purchase, connect https://pikasim.com/mcp/wallet, which supports two auth methods:

  1. OAuth (recommended, for app clients like Claude Desktop / ChatGPT): connecting the wallet URL triggers OAuth 2.1 (Dynamic Client Registration + PKCE). You're sent to a PikaSim consent page where you paste your wallet code to authorize. The client receives a revocable access token — never your wallet code or ak_live_ key. No account, no email, no KYC.
  2. Bearer key (for CLI clients): send Authorization: Bearer ak_live_YOUR_KEY.

The plain https://pikasim.com/mcp URL is browse-only — but the create_wallet tool works there, so an agent can mint its own wallet + key + welcome credit with no browser (see Fully autonomous). A human can instead create a wallet at https://pikasim.com/agent-wallet?utm_source=github_pikasim_mcp (save the wallet code; it's the only way back in).

Wallet, in brief

  • Prepaid, crypto-funded balance. Retail pricing. Minimum deposit $1 — and new wallets carry a small spend-only welcome credit, so a first eSIM data plan (from $0.75) needs no deposit at all. SMS verification numbers always need a deposit.
  • Fund via create_deposit — it returns agent-payable Lightning, USDT (TRC-20), Monero, and Bitcoin destinations inline (an agent holding crypto pays without a human), plus a payment page (card + 50+ altcoins) for a human.
  • No personal account, email, or KYC required.
  • Welcome credit is spend-only (never withdrawable); deposits are.

There's also a separate reseller program at https://pikasim.com/reseller — a B2B track with its own pk_live_ key and a 10% discount. Reseller keys also work on this MCP server at wholesale pricing.

About PikaSim

PikaSim is a privacy-first eSIM marketplace: no accounts, no email, no KYC, crypto settlement. The MCP server exposes the same catalog and ordering to AI agents.

For registries (Dockerfile)

You do not need Docker to use PikaSim — just point your client at the URL above. The included Dockerfile exists only so registries (e.g. Glama) can start a container, speak MCP over stdio, and introspect the tool set. It runs mcp-remote, which bridges a local stdio client to the hosted Streamable HTTP endpoint. All public tools are discoverable with no key.

fetch

Fetch plan details

Fetch full details for one PikaSim eSIM plan by the id returned from search: coverage, data, voice/SMS allowance, duration, price, networks, and its pikasim.com purchase URL. Read-only.

Parametersidrequired

create_wallet

Create an agent wallet

Create a NEW PikaSim agent wallet for autonomous purchasing — no human, no browser, no account, no email, no KYC. Returns a wallet code + an ak_live_ API key + a small spend-only welcome credit (spendable on eSIM data only; SMS verification numbers need a deposit from $1), so you can immediately reconnect with the key (Authorization: Bearer ak_live_…) and buy an eSIM, phone number, or SMS verification number. Use this when the user has NO wallet yet and wants their agent to buy. If the user ALREADY has a wallet, do NOT create a new one — reconnect the existing wallet instead (ask them for it). You accept the Terms of Service (https://pikasim.com/tos) on the user's behalf by passing acceptTos=true.

ParametersacceptTosrequired

check_balance

Check wallet balance

Returns the prepaid spending balance of the connected PikaSim agent wallet, in USD. Read-only; makes no changes. Call this before purchase_esim or purchase_phone_plan to confirm sufficient funds, or any time you need the current balance. Requires a connected agent wallet (OAuth or ak_live_ key). If no wallet is connected, the result explains how to connect one.

Takes no parameters.

purchase_esim

Purchase a data eSIM

Purchase a DATA eSIM. Deducts from your prepaid agent wallet and returns order details with activation info (ICCID, QR code, SM-DP+). Use the packageCode from search_esim_packages. For a daily-reset "Unlimited" plan, also pass days (the number of days to buy). For phone-number eSIMs use purchase_phone_plan instead. Requires an agent-wallet API key (ak_live_).

ParametersdayspromoCoderequestIdpackageCoderequired

purchase_phone_plan

Purchase a phone-number eSIM

Purchase a PHONE-NUMBER eSIM — a plan with a real carrier phone number (voice + SMS + data). Deducts from your prepaid agent wallet and returns order details with activation info (ICCID, QR code, SM-DP+). The real phone number is assigned by the carrier when the eSIM registers on the network and appears in the device settings after activation. Use the packageCode from search_phone_plans. Plans whose search result says "designated-date activation" REQUIRE activationDate. Requires an agent-wallet API key (ak_live_).

ParameterspromoCoderequestIdpackageCoderequiredactivationDate

get_esim_status

Get eSIM status

Returns the live status, remaining/used data, and expiration date for one eSIM you own, looked up by its ICCID. Read-only. Use this after a purchase to track an eSIM, or whenever a user asks "how much data is left" or "is my eSIM active". The ICCID is returned by purchase_esim/purchase_phone_plan and listed by list_orders. Requires a connected agent wallet (OAuth or ak_live_ key).

Parametersiccidrequired

topup_esim

Top up an eSIM

Adds more data (and on some plans voice/SMS) to an existing eSIM the user already owns, without issuing a new eSIM. This SPENDS the wallet balance and cannot be undone. First call get_topup_options with the same ICCID to get valid top-up package codes and prices, then pass one here. Use when a user wants to extend an eSIM that is running low rather than buy a new one. Requires a connected agent wallet (OAuth or ak_live_ key).

ParametersiccidrequiredpromoCodepackageCoderequired

list_orders

List your orders

Returns the order history for the connected wallet, newest first: each order's ID, package, status, cost, date, ICCID, and install link. Read-only and paginated. Use this to find a past purchase, retrieve an ICCID for get_esim_status, or show a user what they have bought. Results are scoped to this wallet only. Requires a connected agent wallet (OAuth or ak_live_ key).

Parameterspagelimit

list_esims

List your eSIMs

List every eSIM this wallet owns (the fleet view), newest first: ICCID, plan, order status, install link, and — for fleets of up to 8 — live remaining data inline. Read-only. Use this to answer "which eSIMs do I own / how much data is left" without already knowing an ICCID; then get_esim_status for any single eSIM's full detail. eSIMs only — SMS numbers are listed by list_sms_orders. Requires a connected agent wallet.

Parameterspage

list_transactions

List wallet transactions

The wallet ledger: every debit and credit (deposits, purchases, refunds) with amount, running balance, and description, newest first. Read-only and paginated; filter with type. Use this to reconcile spend or answer "where did the balance go" — check_balance only gives the current number.

Parameterspagetype

create_deposit

Create a crypto deposit invoice

Creates a payment invoice to add funds to the connected prepaid PikaSim Wallet, and returns a payment page link (the human can pay by card with 3D Secure, or crypto) plus per-coin crypto payment details. Accepts Bitcoin, Lightning, Monero, Zcash, USDT, and 50+ altcoins, or card on the payment page. Does not move funds itself; it returns an invoice the user pays externally, and the balance updates once the payment confirms. Use when check_balance is too low to purchase. Minimum deposit is $1 (no prepaid float required). A fully-autonomous agent holding crypto can pay WITHOUT a human: the tool returns native destinations for Lightning, Bitcoin on-chain, USDT (TRC-20/Tron), and Monero — pay the amount to any one of them. Crypto has no fee; card payments add a 2.9% processing fee on top of the credited amount. Balance is prepaid credit for purchases on PikaSim, never expires, and is not redeemable for cash. Requires a connected agent wallet (OAuth or ak_live_ key).

Parameterscoinamountrequired

get_topup_options

Get top-up options

List available top-up packages for an existing eSIM, including price and data amount. Use this before topup_esim to find valid package codes. Requires an agent-wallet API key (ak_live_).

Parametersiccidrequired

cancel_esim

Cancel an unused eSIM

Cancel an unused eSIM and receive a refund to your wallet balance. Only works if the eSIM has not been installed or activated. Requires an agent-wallet API key (ak_live_).

Parametersiccidrequired

search_sms_services

Search SMS verification services

Search the SMS VERIFICATION service list — websites/apps a receive-only verification number can get a code for (Discord, Google, Telegram, ...). This is the SMS product line (no eSIM, nothing to install): the user gets a temporary phone number and reads the incoming code. Returns service names with their serviceId in [brackets]. If the target service is not listed, search "Other" — the catch-all works for any site. Next step: get_sms_service_countries.

Parametersquery

get_sms_service_countries

Get countries for an SMS service

List the countries offering a quick SMS verification number for one service, with live price, delivery success rate, and whether the number is a real mobile (non-VoIP) or VoIP line. Sorted by success rate — prefer high success rates, and prefer non-VoIP when the target service blocks virtual numbers. Returns each countryId in [brackets] for order_sms_verification.

ParametersserviceIdrequired

list_sms_rentals

List long-term SMS rentals

List long-term SMS RENTAL numbers: keep the same receive-only number for days to months and receive multiple SMS (fair-use 25/day). Shows each country with its rentalId, duration tiers, live prices, and LIVE STOCK per duration — skip tiers marked OUT OF STOCK. US/UK numbers are real mobile (non-VoIP); Canada is VoIP. Not allowed for banking/financial/crypto-exchange verification. Purchase with rent_sms_number.

Takes no parameters.

order_sms_verification

Order a quick SMS number

Buy a QUICK SMS verification number: returns a temporary phone number the user enters on the target service, then the incoming code is read with check_sms_verification. This SPENDS the wallet balance (typically $0.50-$5). Single-use, valid 20 minutes, auto-refunds if no SMS arrives. Use search_sms_services and get_sms_service_countries first to pick serviceId and countryId. Requires a connected agent wallet.

ParameterscountryIdrequestIdserviceIdrequired

check_sms_verification

Check for the SMS code

Poll a quick SMS order for the incoming verification code. Read-only. Call every 15-30 seconds after order_sms_verification until status is "received", then relay the code (and full message) to the user. Orders auto-refund if nothing arrives within 20 minutes. Requires a connected agent wallet.

ParametersorderIdrequired

cancel_sms_verification

Cancel a quick SMS order

Cancel a quick SMS order that is still waiting for a code and refund it to the wallet immediately. Refused if the SMS was already delivered (read it with check_sms_verification instead). Requires a connected agent wallet.

ParametersorderIdrequired

list_sms_orders

List your SMS orders

List this wallet's SMS orders — quick verification orders (with their Order IDs) and long-term rentals (with their receipt IDs, numbers, and expiry dates). Read-only. Use it to re-find an order ID or check what is still active. Requires a connected agent wallet.

Takes no parameters.

rent_sms_number

Rent a long-term SMS number

Rent a LONG-TERM receive-only SMS number: the user keeps the same number for the whole rental and can receive multiple SMS (fair-use 25/day). This SPENDS the wallet balance. Use list_sms_rentals first for rentalId, valid day tiers, prices, and live stock (do not order an OUT OF STOCK tier). Extendable before expiry with extend_sms_rental, and cancellable for a full refund with cancel_sms_rental within 2 hours if no messages arrived. Not allowed for banking/financial/crypto-exchange verification. Requires a connected agent wallet.

ParametersdaysrequiredrentalIdrequiredrequestId

get_sms_rental_messages

Read rental SMS inbox

Read the inbox of a long-term SMS rental: all received messages, newest first, plus the number's status and expiry. Read-only; poll it when the user expects a message. The receiptId comes from rent_sms_number or list_sms_orders. Requires a connected agent wallet.

ParametersreceiptIdrequired

extend_sms_rental

Extend an SMS rental

Extend a long-term SMS rental so the user keeps the same number — days are ADDED on top of the current expiry. This SPENDS the wallet balance at the live tier price (the tool checks the price first and reports what was charged). Valid day options are the same duration tiers the rental was offered at. Extend BEFORE expiry; an expired rental usually cannot be recovered. Requires a connected agent wallet.

ParametersdaysrequiredreceiptIdrequired

cancel_sms_rental

Cancel and refund an SMS rental

Cancel a long-term SMS rental and refund the full amount to the wallet. Only works within 2 hours of purchase AND only if the number has NOT received any message — this mirrors the provider refund window, so if the window has passed or a code already arrived it returns a clear reason and refunds nothing (the number worked). Use for a genuine change of mind or a wrong purchase shortly after renting. The receiptId comes from rent_sms_number or list_sms_orders. Requires a connected agent wallet.
